Jin Korean BBQ

I love Jins. If it wasn’t so expensive, I would come here more often. They have a variety of meat to eat, both cooked and cook yourself. The day I went was super crowded and I had to wait for around 20 minutes. It wasn’t too bad.
There is the middle section where everything you basically need is located: fresh steamed rice, kimchi rice (A MUST TRY), uncooked meats (get the bulgolgi– you will have to cook it at your table) and a section for cooked things ready to go. I think there’s also some salad, but come on, who gets salad?!
I usually have to turn on the light and ask for several plates of short ribs and brisket. To me, those two are the must-​haves here. Like I said before, if it were cheaper, I’d be here more often, but I’m here already.

Lost count of how many times I’ve been here… which is a good sign because I ALWAYS come back! This is honestly one of my favorite Korean BBQ places. I’ve never had a bad experience here.
It’s reasonably priced because it’s all you can eat. It may seem pricey but it’s so worth it! They do a great job at keeping all of the food stations stocked. TIP: there are a few items that are included in the buffet but you order them through your server and they bring it out for you.

You want to go where a Korean person recommend you the real deal of KBBQ? Well in my opinion this place is decent, you can get the meat that you want to try and just grill away! Each table has their own grilling spot. However as a Korean person the meat is just okay, it’s not like oh wow this meat is really good! But it’s pretty good where you’re happy to be there with family and friends and eat your heart away. There’s a lot of different options as well besides the meat, so it is a wonderful experience to go and try Korean food.

Good choices and options. A big facility. Food is overall pretty good and moves pretty fast.
The reason for the 3 instead of 4 is because they do not have as many meat options as some other places that I have been (given, I am from southern California so we have a lot more options) and it is pretty pricey. For 3 people the cost came out to be $ 65 not including tip. That’s higher than I am used to for dinner. I am accustomed to ~$ 15 for all you can eat Korean BBQ Dinner. The sides are decent and they taste good, but I am used to a few more options.
The grill per table is a little bit small and we are unable to cook enough meats for the 3 of us. I have come several time with 3 – 4 people and it is difficult to cook quickly enough for everyone. However the staff are good at coming around to change often.
Yes, I plan on coming back here. But it is not something I would come often. Of the area this is the best place that I have been to. However, I think I might just buy the items from H-​Mart and do it at home.

This KBBQ place is a bit different from the other KBBQ places in the area. Unlike the other places, you can get your own meat, along with everything else (rice and side dishes) from the middle of the room. Honestly I think this is great since you’re in control of the type and amount of meat you cook. Also, you can always ask for the other meats that is not in the middle from your waiter! The only thing that bothers me is that it can get a bit difficult to grab the waiters… since it can get a little busy most of the time. but besides that, everything is great!
Also, compared to the other KBBQ places this place is super nice and clean. I love how they really decorated the place. The way this places looks, how clean everything is, and the variety of meat just makes me love this place even more.

This place was a ‘we are in the area and I want good food’ kind of restaurant. I went to my trusty Unilocal and this sounded fabulous. It was original and a lot of fun. A tip from a NooB — don’t put your veggies and raw meat on the same plate. DOH! I had to go back and get more veggies. HA. Was a lot of fun.

The absolutely perfect Korean BBQ! This is the only place that lets you do it all your self from getting your own meat, sides, and grill buffet style! The price is cheap and so many varieties to choose from!

Bottom line is this is the best of the best, highly recommended!!!

When you need a waiter there is a light switch that you can press to call them over to your table.

Reasonable price for a good choice of meat and side dishes. We came on Christmas Day dinner and my only gripe is that they were having trouble keeping the basic side dishes such as rice fully stocked. For many of the meat options and dessert, you will have to ask the waitstaff to bring it to you as it is not located at the buffet. Of course, these are the best items and they’re listed on the menu.
Jin has three main buffet tables: one for meat, one for salad (raw vegetables) and one for hot side dishes and soup such as japchae, tteokbokki, fried fish, and seaweed soup.
The sesame chicken here is outstanding, and I loved the japchae and pumpkin porridge.
This buffet is not accomodating to vegetarians, although the staff claimed otherwise. Vegetarians can expect to eat salad (raw vegetables), soup, rice, and there are only a couple of hot dishes that are actually vegetarian. Those who don’t mind picking meat out of their food will be able to find more.
As with most Korean restaurants, don’t hesitate to ask for hot or cold Barley Tea (boricha) which is free.
Keep in mind, the waitstaff is not going to be very helpful as nearly everything is self service.

Aw yeah, nothing quite like all you can eat korean bbq. With very reasonable prices at lunch.
The food bar in the middle has quite a lot of good options: soondubu, kimchi fried rice, etc.
Meat is self serve with a few that you need to ask the kitchen for. I recommend the bulgogi and pork belly, and asking for the chaldobegi and LA galbi. You’ll knock yourself out pretty fast.
Some annoyances: sesame oil you need to ask them for. Lettuce is not complimentary (I really want to wrap my meat please…). And the rice punch tastes funky. But if you’re here for the meat, no complaints there… you might have some problems leaving though from being too full!

Jin is great. It’s been a long while since I’ve visited an all-​you-​can-​eat Korean BBQ place, left satisfied and not completely broke: D At a VERY affordable 20 dollars/​meal (dinner), it is SUCH a good deal to pay Jin a visit.
Jin has a very clean and nice interior — well lit (pretty blue lighting), well organized (set up with lots of booths), and well staffed (during our time there, we were frequently visited by our waitress, who routinely cleaned out our stove). I really liked the feel of it.
So you have the option of ordering specific dishes from the menu, which are all-​you-​can-​eat once you pay for them, as well as all the buffet bar style things that you can go grab at your pleasure. We had some goubi and Bugolgi, which were superb. The steaks were also pretty well sauced! If you feel like you just want to have some more «home cooked’ dishes, you can find a good selection of veggies, soups, and other meats in the middle island area — LOTS-​n-​LOTS to choose from. Be careful tho: don’t get too much, which is SUPER easy to do, or you may have to pay some penalty (or so I heard).
Once you are full, feel free to sit for a while and allow your stomach to rest, order a small bowl of this appetizing drink (I am totally blanking on the name… is it Soju… that might be the actual alcoholic drink… ASK A WAITER!!!). It’s a sweet little drink that really opens up your stomach for round 2 ^.^
In all, loved this place. Would definitely come back and recommend to friends: D (Plus its next to H mart and all these other cool little shops… UMMM MOZART… perfect for some after meal activities!!)

Only $ 20 for all the galbi, ribeye, and everything else Korean I could want to eat? What a steal! (It’s also only $ 15 if you come for lunch Monday-​Friday from 11am-​3pm)
This place is huge and great for large parties. The one thing I hate/​love about Korean BBQ is taking the smell/​aroma home with me on my clothes but because of how open and how well ventilated this restaurant is, the matter is a little less concerning.
There’s a wide assortment of sides available served buffet-​style so feel free to help yourself. You want tofu soup? Scoop it yourself. Feeling lazy and wanting pre-​cooked bulgogi, treat yoself.
Seriously, this place rocks. It’s modern, clean, reasonably priced, wide in variety, etc. The list goes on and on. The only teeny tiny complaint is that soda comes in can form and isn’t bottomless, but I forgive them.

Jin is awesome! It’s super worth it for all you can eat Korean BBQ for $ 15 at lunch and $ 20 for dinner. This includes LA galbi, Korean fried chicken wings, and all the items in the buffet bar! It does not include lettuce for wrapping, which I think is kind of dumb. It costs $ 3 extra to get a plate of lettuce.
My favorites at the buffet are the galbi, bulgogi with vegetables, and pork belly, and I just stuff myself with those. I also like to get the soondubu jigae (soft tofu stew) with my meal and finish off with some sweet pumpkin porridge. They also have some banchan like broccoli, bean sprouts, kimchi, and fish tofu, which are decent. The korean fried chicken wings are good when they’re freshly fried, but you just have to get lucky with that. I wish they made them to order but I don’t think they do :/​.
Be sure to wear old clothes that you don’t care about here and be prepared to take a shower afterwards, because you will end up smelling like meat for the rest of the day. It’s worth it though. Jin, please open a location in Houston! We are in desperate need of some affordable Korean BBQ here ;_;.

Been here a couple times in the past 2 weeks for dinner and it’s a good time every time! I’ve had a ton of All you can eat Korean bbq in Southern California where you order with a waiter/​waitress and they bring the meat out to you. Jin has a more traditional buffet style with all the meats out on a cart and you can grab as many types of meat as you want and as much as you want as well!
I think this is the style all ayce Korean bbq places should be since I usually end up waiting for meat but at Jin the problem is that I’m not eating the meat fast enough! There’s tons of meats ranging from bugolgi to pork belly to squid/​tilapia, beef tongue and even intestines as well! They have a few soups, a good variety of sides, and have some hot cooked items such as fried rice, jap chae, spicy pork/​bugolgi if you get lazy and you can order fried wings or an angus ribeye as well! The food is delicious and the variety will provide something for everybody!
The price is good at 19.99/person and they have a wide selection of alcohol as well. The service is pretty good and you just flip the light switch if you need something immediately! I would definitely come back here.

This place have changed a lot since they first open. They now follow the «buffet» concept, where you get your own meat and side dishes, besides some of the meat that needs to be refrigerated (short ribs, beef tounge, brisket). This approach makes it easier for the server and also customer, but somehow I feel like it degraded the value of the food. Because the minimal demand from customer, the servers were able to provide better service.
I noticed they have reduced the price to only $ 15 for lunch and $ 20 for dinner, which is a major plus, for the quality and variety of food you get compared to its competitors.
I love how they also have an array of seafood. This really attract non meat consumer.

AYCE Korean BBQ. I’ve been dying to find a place like Picnic Garden in NJ, and I think I found something like it.
First: Price. Definitely worth the $ 19.99 for AYCE Korean BBQ. The BBQ includes the usual meats like bulgolgi (its spicy variations), chicken, and seafood (which I can’t eat). Reason why the price is so low is because it does not include meats like the Short Rib (which I know would usually fly off the shelves if placed). In addition, the already cooked items were not as vast as I am used to. Where are my Korean Pancakes? They’re perfect with my meat. Also, lettuce is an extra $ 2. Basically, if you want to eat your meat properly with the lettuce wrap, you must pay extra.
Second: Our service experience was not the best. We had to ask the server to change the grill the first few times since no one came by our table. We also did not get served water until a quarter of the way into our time there.
Overall, it is definitely worth the $ 19.99 for AYCE. However, I’ve had better experiences.

After hearing so many good things about Jin, I was excited to finally be able to dine here for the first time!
The restaurant was pretty clean and I really liked the buffet concept of the korean barbecue. The buffet contained a variety of dishes in addition to the korean bbq components. The buffet offered non-​korean bbq options such as fried rice, tofu soup, fried chicken, and other typical asian dishes. Although the buffet line provided a large quantity of other dishes, the quality of it was below average.
The meat ordered from the menu was perfectly seasoned but one could easily mess the whole dish up by burning it. lol. I really enjoyed the short ribs. The basic bon chon’s dishes lacked flavor and bland.
The service dramatically depreciated after we were seated at our table. I felt as if the restaurant staff was almost running away from our table and avoiding our table for some reason… OR maybe they were short on staff that evening.
Overall, I was extremely disappointed with everything but Im willing to give this restaurant another chance.

Wooo. This place is good. I have family in the area and they said that this is better than Omi because of the buffet area. I love being able to get my own condiments, and the AYCE of course! They have some raw meats on the buffet and then you can order from the menu also. All for the low price of $ 19.99 (.95). I went with my 3yo daughter and 18 other people. We had reservations so we didn’t have to wait. The max number of people at a talke is 12 though so our party was split up. It was still lots of fun though.
When we first sat down, it took a long time for someone to come get our drinks order, which is disappointing. But then we utilized the service light! That light works really well. They answer it extremely quickly.
Come and eat and leave full! I will be back whenever I visit, most likely. :-D

I like Jin. It’s a solid choice if you want protein.

First time here and I loved it. Brought by friends. Was a great experience to be able to cook and share our own food in the middle of the table. Made for great laughs and some good food.
Great place to hang with friends or on a date. Service was great and the price is very affordable.

For $ 20 dinner AYCE is not bad. The korean bbq here is solid. I enjoyed grilling and having the freedom to get up and get as much meat as I liked without waiting for the waiter. The meat were marinated well and flavorful. Keep in mind the pork meat takes longer to cook. The spicy squid was my favorite and cooks pretty fast. You don’t want to over cook the squid because it can be chewy. The chicken was delicious, too. They have a station for cooked items, soup, and rice. There was a garnish and salad/​sides station and a raw meat station. I was all over the raw meat station and you can find array of selection of meat there. For the premium meat, you have to get it from your waiter because they don’t want people wasting it. It’s included in the AYCE price so don’t worry!
What I find nasty are the flies over the cooked items. I didn’t eat any rice or bulgogi pre cooked meat. It was not a pretty site. I stuck with the raw meat and cook on my own and I made sure it was well cooked to kill any bacteria. Waiter and waitresses are nice. Remember to turn on the light at your table when you need something.
