These are my fries. Hubby complained about them to the help at the counter and was told«those are out new fries, that’s how they are supposed to be cooked». New? These taste like they’ve been cooked twice. They are dried out like potato chips. Wasted money, wasted effort, wasted time, wasted food.

Ordered the 1⁄3 cheeseburger lunch special that came with fries and a med fountain drink. The burger itself was not good personally. The bread was very soggy and the patty was not cooked thoroughly. The taste itself was kind of strange. The fries were large in quantity and tasted fine. Easy location with parking, clean, and receieved my order quickly. I won’t be back based on the burger =/. But based on other reviews its worth a shot!

Pleasant surprise! We were in Plano looking for a place to have a quick lunch. We thought we would try this establishment. Everything was very fresh. The hamburgers were delicious. French fries were excellent. Very nice people behind the counter. It was busy during the lunch hour, but the service was great. We’ll definitely go back. They give you a choice of hand cut fries or regular fries. They also have fried pickles, which wete seasoned beautifully. Very tasty! Great menu. I had the patty melt; it was excellent. Went back May 17, 2016. Still a great patty melt, but the fried pickles this time were awful. Sad!

I was sick after eating here for my first time. Everything is greasy and soggy. They don’t cook your meat all the way, which is fine for some people.

The very best veggie burger I’ve ever had — get the Patty Melt on Texas Toast. Consistently outstanding. Hard to believe a veggie burger could be this good. Burger with drink for way less than $ 10? I’m a regular, yes sir… Here’s my video review —

I’ve been going to this same location for 13 years. The burgers are still fantastic, the fries have gotten super tasty. I’m sure the fresh cut fries are a big hit. The employees have changed through the years but everyone is very friendly and food is served with a smile. Thank you for being dependable and having the best burgers!

Fresh! So fresh and so yummy. Worth the wait… yes you may have to wait a bit, it’s a popular place. But if you know what’s good for you, you’ll check out their chicken sandwich. Freaking incredible. I didn’t think a grilled chicken sandwich could even be so decadent. The chicken is marinated so well and is so juicy. I don’t really come for burgers but I know people that love them too. Worth the calories and don’t even count them that day. They have been here forever too and are still rocking it.

So we went here for the 4th of July, and it was absolutely fantastic. The burger popped with flavor,(I recommend that you try the burger with everything on it). The fries were appropriately salty, and the milkshake was fantastic, though a bit watery for my taste.

A good burger place. Not the best I’ve had, but very good. Fresh cut French fries were good, but I like my fries a little more crisp. I had the 1⁄3 lb burger and added grilled green chiles and cheese. Will I go back? Definitely. According to «the wall», only one person has won the JC burger challenge. Is it your turn to try?

I was in need(lol :D) of a good burger after the soso burger I had at Jimmy’s Burger yesterday. At JC’s I got the a cheeseburger and fresh cut fries. In my opinion, JC’s has the best burgers in Plano. I am never disappointed when I come here. The patty is the right thickness and seasoned to perfection.

This place has good burgers. If I could give it some pointers I would say get thicker cut cheese and have fresh jalapeños as an option. I had the fresh cut fries and they were good. I also would make a seasoning to put on then that helps. My freind used the jalapeño Tabasco shade to make spicy ketchup that’s a good idea for all places. The have a huge burger that has a t-shirt so for all you MVF challengers good luck!

One of the best in Plano. The food is always fresh and amazing. I’ve noticed now that they have a lot of other branches in the metroplex but this location is the very first one(original) we like the feeling of eating their real good burgers and this old little shop. Come visit and support locally owned businesses.

Easily one of the best patty melts I’ve had! Caramelized onions, juicy patty, and smooth jack cheese with jalapenos, I think. Crispy tater tots on the side and I married it.

The burgers were fresh and delicious! My husband ordered onion rings. I tried one and it was cold but he liked it. We ordered cheesy tater tots and they were Awesome!!! The staff was very friendly & efficient. Prices were very reasonably priced. We’ll definitely be back!

I’ve been on a quest to find the best burger in Dallas and I think I’ve finally found it!!! Ordered me a double quarter pounder with everything and a large order of sweet potato fries recently. Both were amazing! The burger was perfectly cooked and oh so juicy. Mmmm.drool. The burger meat was pink in the center which is just the way I like it. Most burger places’ meat is too thin making it dry… not here though. The fries tasted fresh and were not soggy at all. They were cut just right. I can’t wait to come back. They are closed Sundays and are a bit hard to find but its worth the effort!

I am a JCs fanatic. I have all other local ones in my phone contacts. With that said, this was my first time at this location and I was disappointed. It wasn’t a friendly as other locations My chicken sandwich wasn’t made how I asked. Less fries than I usually get at other locations. I am just used to an amazing burger/chicken sandwich at other locations. This was just ok. And for the money, wasn’t worth it. Other locations — I’m a hardcore fan. I’m just so disappointed in this one.

My main reason for coming here was because I heard they had gluten free buns. My main reason for coming back is the quality of the food.

i’ve loved this place since middle school; tater tots are always on point, burgers are always juicy and the staff is always friendly. i used to be able to eat a 1⁄3 pounder cheeseburger with tots, but now i feel guilty and opt for kids meals instead. TOTSALWAYS; fries are good too but the meal isn’t complete without those delicious tots!

Took a trip here with the whole crew-and everyone left full and happy. That is a major accomplishment for my family. We started with a sampler-onion rings, fried pickles, fried jalapenoes, and fries. Everything was tasty-althugh I think I would like just a little more seasoning in the batter. The serving size was quite generous-and the food still disappeared. I beleive this is a testament to the food rather than a sign to feed the kids more than once a day. We also had a nice order f loaded fries-very filling and tasty. The youngest(and most finicky) got chicken strips-and they were a big hit. Whenyou have a 2 year old who is very picky it is nice to see them eat without complaint. Chicken breast sandwhich was also tasty-from the little nibble I was allowed. I had a burger with bacon, cheese, grilled onions, and mushrooms. A very nice burger. Juicy and nice flavor-and a generous enough serving to almost fill even me up. The space itself is small but well kept and very clean. It was a rather large crowd while we were there but the staff kept things moving along and there was not an overly long wait for anything. All in all this was a very pleasant visit and I will have no problems stopping in again when in the area.

JC’s burger has a special place in my heart because I started eating«fancier» burgers here, instead of Braum’s or McDonald’s. I was young and didn’t know better. Also, this place reminds me of the quality time I spend with my parents when I was much younger. JC and his wife were always friendly to us(and everyone), and they knew my order exactly, everytime. I always get the 1⁄3 lb burger with everything, including bacon. They cooked it to perfection, and I leave with satisfaction. This place was always packed and busy, but after a while JC franchised his burger joint around DFW, and it got less crowded. It is not the best burger I’ve ever had, but the memories I had here was sweet and unforgettable. I found out recently that JC, the owner has passed away. I’m sending my condolences to his family. Thanks for great burgers in Plano, and your warm welcoming whenever I was there. RIP!
