I’m giving this place one star because their name is attached to Rajula’s Restaurant on their weekly mailout. Biggest ripoff I have ever encountered! We did the Mon., Tues., & Wed. Thali «special» which is advertised on their window and through India Bazaar. $ 14.00+ for THAT?! (for two) which would be regularly priced at $ 28.00+ … are you kidding me?! It’s not even a buffet!!! On top of that, the food wasn’t even authentic Indian! The sambar was flavored water, the tomato soup tasted like canned tomato soup with a few spices in it. They’re so chintzy that they gave us ½ of a papad! The little bowls were about ½ full. I will NEVER go here again nor do I recommend you set foot inside the place!

I recommend this grocery store if you’re looking for produce as well as spices. Definitely the go to spot anywhere in Dallas if you want cheap, bulk spices!
Pros:
+ Fresh produce — I love how they sell red, yellow, and orange peppers for a fraction of the price you can get in other groceries
+ Large selection of spices — of course they’ve got tons of Indian spices. The best part, they’re much cheaper since they tend to send them in bulk. If you’re looking to try out a new spice, it might not be the best to grab an entire packet. However, if you know what spices you tend to use a lot, it’s worth buying a large packet of them.
+ Fast food — they’ve got a food stand that serves Indian street food. Highly recommend a quick snack while you’re already here.
Cons:
— Check out can be a little slow if you’re in a rush

India bazaar is my go-​to place for all my groceries. vegetable place is upgraded and adds to list. Place is clean and nicely maintained. Would recommend it for all busy folks out there. With extended hrs this place is heaven. Highly recommend.

Every thing is fine here, one star because of one of old person always siting there. 2 Month back I went there for shopping grocery, I shop around $ 200 dollars, I ask to cashier don’t put biscuit packet in bag, I have to eat it while driving, she said ok, after paid money when I step out to store The old guy was following me to the parking lot I wasn’t know but when he looking me from from one hidden side then I know he is following me, when I about to put my stuff in my van, he ask me hey did you pay for this biscuit, I said yes, he said then why it is not in the bag, I say what you think I am thieve, he ask me to show receipt, I showed him receipt and I went inside and complain to the manager. that is so so bad thing, I decide to never go back to this store again. how any one feel if they look and behave you that way.

This place has great selections but some of the vegetables are not properly rotated and show signs of rot.
Some things are overpriced and other things are super cheap. The one must buy is the Spanish saffron! Bought a whole ounce for only $ 69.99 at the time. If you tried to buy that much at whole foods or another area that sells gourmet spices, it would literally cost you around 1000. You only get .01 to .03 oz for 12 to 16 dollars. But this place sells various amounts for insanely low prices. I’m a chef and I know real saffron. This is not really grade 1 Spanish saffron but it’s very close. It’s a little bit lighter than superior saffron but is perfect for the price. Amazon sells this same brand for just under 100. So you are getting a great deal here.
The food they sell here is amazing too! A great place for snacks!

Nice place to find produce, spices, bulk items and packaged prepared food. Although it is small and could be a little more clean… the produce is always fresh, they are well stocked, and I can always find what I need. I also appreciate that the people at cash out are always friendly.

All of you might think that this is the best place where you can go and find Indian food, I am not saying it is not. But read this review and decide for yourself.
I bought a bottle of coconut water on 29th march 2015, after drinking it I realized that the product was expired a long time ago (September 2014). I understand the fact that i should have checked it before, but it came as a shock to me that this store is selling so old and expired products and playing with people’s health. This is utter nonsense.
I would advise everyone of you to check all packed food before buying it from this store.

This is a pretty good indian grocery store for the DFW area. Prices are decent and everything is well laid out. They also expanded recently from what I’ve seen.
Vegetables are moderately fresh, though I’d be weary while picking up vegetables. I saw a lot of people hunting around for the good stuff and dropping vegetables on the ground, bruising them and putting them back… probably happens at grocery stores but I saw it a lot here.
All of the packed items are at a good price and everything is really well organized. I mainly come here to get packaged dal and pick up spices. Their spice aisle close to the cashier is very comprehensive.
The snack bar is pretty decent, aloo tikki isn’t bad. But when I come here in the summer they have a couple of flies buzzing around the tables inside which really bugs me.
The ladies at the counters are generally nice but some of them can be pretty rude somethings.
Overall a good place and I come here to get what I need and leave.

I went today to buy 2 sugar cane juices and they were rotten! The lady stood there and made juice with rotten, old sugarcane that was just sitting around. She knowingly sold spoiled food at the café. No shame! They should be ashamed of themselves! NEVER again will I go there! If you want to get sick by eating and drinking old things that are spoiled and probably make you sick– then go ahead and go there. Otherwise– there are plenty of other grocers and chaat places in Plano to go to that have a sense of decency!

One of the largest Indian-​focused stores I’ve been in. The place is a little unorganized and there were no staff to assist us. Facilities were moderately clean, but kind of cluttered. Prices are almost past ridiculous and they are notoriously bad about marking prices HIGHER than the manufacture prints on the merchandise! There are other stores with smaller (but better) selections with reasonable prices.

*** Price Gouging ***
This used to be a small store at the corner of Spring Creek and Alma. They have now expanded their store to double their size and they have another store in Irving as well.
The main reason for giving 1 star is due to their pricing on items they sell. Many of the items have a price printed by the manufacturer, but they put a sticker on top of it and show a different price all together. You can see this very blatantly on some of the Frozen items. Once an item becomes popular among patrons, these guys immediately raise the price.

You know it’s good when the place is completely packed with Indians. Whenever I’m in a store like this I’m always sneaking looks into other peoples’ carts to try to figure out what people in the know like to buy, since I’m pretty clueless. This place isn’t huge like Asia World or Ranch 99, but it’s a comprehensive Indian grocery store with all the spices and rice and snacks and frozen food and produce that you could want.
It’s also pretty clean, smells fine, and has pretty good customer service. There is a little express café inside that does a brisk business and has a few tables you can sit and eat at. I actually wasn’t a fan of their daal (too salty) but the chapati was good and it looked like people loved the chaat (snacks) and drinks that they offer.

I love this store. I no longer live in Plano and hence miss visiting this family run store. Kishore Bhai, his wife and son are terrific and friendly with tips and information. The hindi movie videos at $ 1 are a great use and throw value. The need to adda good chaat stand and improve the variety of the food items.
The homemade rotis and pickes that they sell at the counter are fantastic. My husband loved the paan they used to sell.

This little Indian store smells sooo good and the people are friendly and helpful. It’s at Spring Creek and Alma in north Plano, next door to Cici’s Pizza. Great place to get spices, rice, etc.
