I am leaving the store feeling angry and mistreated by management team and customer service team. I bought a wok 3 weeks ago from here and wanted to return it but the manager here was quite firm on their 14 day return policy. Most stores have 30 day return policy but this one has only 14 days and they don’t give a damn if you drove 90+ miles to drive here to return it nor that you were a loyal customer for years. I explained that i have a toddler plus i live 90 mi away from the store so its hard to drive here within their time frame but the manager turned his head away and didn’t care what i have to say. I was only 6 days late and i drove 1.5 hrs to return w receipt!!! I told him I won’t be shopping anymore here and he said he doesn’t care-is this how a loyal customer should be treated? I feel they just treat any customer like a kettle and doesn’t give a damn if they lose a customer or two as long as the guys from upstairs get their paycheck. Very poor and unforgiving customer service. I will not be coming back.

Wow. The last time I shop at Hmart. We live very far away and make special trips just to shop here. We purchased an item that did not live up to our expectations. We came back as soon as we could with receipt in hand. They would not refund nor give store credit. We told them we spend thousands of dollars a year there, and we would be fine with store credit. But they wouldn’t do it. So over the principle of not caring about their customers, we will take our business to Ranch 99.

Compared to the Carrollton location this place is smaller. I was very disappointed with the selection of Korean meats i.e. bulgogi and Kalbi. Not to mention the Kalbi did not taste as fresh either. The food court here is also sorry. Not much of a selection to choose from. The only plus is there is a Tous les Jours bakery inside. Too bad because Plano is closer to me but the drive to Carrollton is worth it.

Want anything Korean? Food? Groceries? Snacks? I’ve found your place. Or maybe it’s mine, but I’m sure you’ll like it too. It’s much closer to me than the Carrollton H Mart so I’ve found myself going to this one more often. It’s pretty clean on the inside(surprisingly) and the selection is wide as well. Definitely has everything needed to make a great meal. Don’t wanna cook? There’s a food court inside too. There’s a lot of choices that are sure to satisfy whatever you’re craving. Overall, great market and food court.

I love buying my fruits and veggies and meat here. Everything just tastes sweeter, fresher and better. I also browsing through their household goods and kitchenware. I give this place a 4 star because I’ve reserved the 5star review for a Korean market for Zion Market.

Food Heaven, thy name is Plano H Mart. I am in the early stages of converting from a western(meat laden) diet to an eastern(veggie laden) diet, in an attempt to get off my prescriptions BP and cholesterol, lose weight, and generally feel better. For years, I have enjoyed exploring and dabbling in «unusual»(for me) food from the Asian markets all over town for decades, and have enjoyed it thoroughly. H Mart allows me to buy everything I need to support my new fuel strategy under one roof, for ridiculously low prices, and to be thrilled by the opportunity to buy incredibly varied food, and the prospects of learning and trying something new every time I visit. I shall return soon– I love this place!

Ok — so, H mart is more focused on Korean food, 99 Ranch is more Chinese and Vietnamese, Hong Kong Market is more Vietnamese and Chinese(in that order). All have better fruit and veg — better selection and prices — than any western grocery. H Mart has a yummy Korean food court — lived in Korea for 5 years and this food is authentic and yummy! The vegan place next to Hong Kong Market is pretty good. The Vietnamese and Chinese places in 99 ranch might be good but they have no veg choices that look attractive so, didn’t try. All three have great choices but with a different country focus. Go! Try some yummy new stuff — you’ll be back! (Losing a star for so few veg options and those they have are hard to find.)

Came here for Ox tail soup(Su Long Tang) and found it prepackaged made in store, ready to go, right next to the pumpkin porridge which are both phenomenally priced and authentic. It is a clean market with a great selection.

Love it here! To me, this reminded me of my childhood and going to the Korean grocery store with my mom. It was just wayyyyyy fancier. It had a food court, a pastry, a deli filled with cold and hot dishes. I was NOT disappointed. The vegetable section was beautiful. To a foodie and a home cook, the selection was a dream. I even found organic barley tea! So I went on a Saturday thinking it would be a mad house and really, it wasn’t. Not even a little. I was surprised how dead it actually was. The Super H Mart loses a star because some of the sale items they had weren’t there and their check out counter person wasn’t very friendly. All in all, a solid four stars.

Need exotic ingredients to cook a splendid cuisine? Well, HMart has got you covered ranging from dragonfruits to fish cakes to Chinese herbal medicine. There are 3 HMarts that I know of: this one is in Plano, another one in Carrollton, and a new one in Houston. Happy shopping y’all! PRODUCTS: 4⁄5 SERVICES: 3⁄5 AMBIANCE: 4⁄5 PRICE: $$

Wow! This place is unreal. They have a comprehensive selection of Asian foods like I’ve never seen. In addition the place is clean, pleasant and inviting. I want to learn how to use all these fantastic ingredients.

I love H Mart! First off, it is clean, clean, clean, which is a little unusual for Asian markets. Everything is well organized and we’ll laid out, so it’s easy to find what you need. Second, it’s got a huge variety of Asian grocery items, if you can think of it, they likely have it. They even have cosmetics, too, in little boutique-y areas, so you know it’s special. Third, it’s super convenient. It’s right around the corner from Costco, so it’s great for consolidating trips. Usually I go to the west Plano costco, because I live close-by, but I like this H Mart better than the one in Carrollton, so if I need to go to both, I go here. For Asian groceries, it’s my go-to place!

He could nicely ask me to move and I would happily move! But doing this shit is unacceptable! Take to manager n them still haven’t hear a «SORRY»… I don’t feel safe going here anymore!!!

WOO-HOO, as good as it gets. I tend to patron Super H Mart in Carrollton more ofteb but I always go here when I am in the area. H-Mart is a brilliant Korean mega supermarket. The employees are friendly and helpful and they carry the best Korean grocery selection in the country.

Denied ADA acommodation. I was in an electric cart with a portable IV hanging from my arm when I asked for carryout – 3 times. The Cashier was rude and said they don’t offer carryout, even after I explained I really need it and can’t shop there if they don’t help me. I am on the Heart Transplant Waiting List. I get very tired and weak. I only do small shops(milk…15 items or less). The callous cashier was smiling while repeatedly denying me carryout. I told her I wish she was never in my shoes. I left my purchases at her cash stand(she was outraged!). Prepared to return all my purchases, I went in search and found a gracious, helpful parking lot attendant. Arturo was apologetic about his insensitive co-worker and helped me to my car. I was sobbing at this point. I wish I handled stress more graciously, but when you need a new heart, life is pretty challenging and so be be further challenged by HMart cashier is exhausting. My sister went up to the store 30 minutes later and asked for the«Manager On Duty.» The customer service person told her the MOD was«off for the day!» Apparently they have no one running the store. The Customer Service person expressed no concern or problem with their lack of service or lack of ADA accommodation. This response was probably more appalling than the cashiers. I can’t say this enough but my life on the heart transplant list is beyond difficult. I can’t expose myself self to the stress and rude, hostile attitude of an HMART cashier, whom I will refrain from publicly naming, but I will not sink to her level. Shame on HMart. Fix this… train your staff on ADA!

Went here today to finally check it out… It reminded me of the old Super Walmarts of the late 80s and early 90s with the food court, indie shops and then the grocery store. I am going to need to come back here because I can spend hours in this place trying to find new things to eat. The food court was a bit confusing, and looked/smelled good, but when I realized you order in one central location, I was over it and proceeded to roam the store. To my surprise, they had sample stations everywhere, so I ate a light lunch just from that. ZING! I’ll definitely be coming back here so I can look for more things to try.

I’ll tell you this-I dreaded going to the Hmart Carrollton location. The parking lot there sucks, store aisles are crowded, and workers are rude. I refused to go unless I was going to be eating nearby. The Plano location is a sigh of relief. The parking lot is worry free. The aisles aren’t crowded. The workers are a little nicer. So far we love the café-great if you want quick Asian food. We often get the hard to find, jajamyung(regular or seafood), kimbap, and soups. All are good for the price. We go here once a week and never run into issues with things being out of stock or food not being fresh. Thanks for coming to north Dallas Hmart!

Not much of a difference between the Hmart in Carrollton and this one. They both offer a great amount of fresh produce, snacks, and a food court. The space does feel as if there is more area to move around with your cart, even with a crowd. They offer just as many sample stations and they have fresh kimbap in the morning(where the side dishes are at). I must say I enjoy watching the ahjummas make fresh kimchi and cook up delicious meats for sampling at the Carrollton location. They don’t do that hear, or not that I’ve seen before on my visits. The food court offers a variety of Asian fare. There is a main cashier for ordering with a master menu of all the restaurants and their dishes. You let them know which dish you want by providing them with the designated letter/number: A1, C4, etc. My favorite is the Korean Snacks! I enjoy the korean/chinese food, but I wish they had the black bean noodle & spicy seafood noodle soup combo. That’s the best when you can get a combo like that. There are makeup stores, a kid’s store with stuffed toys and hair pins, and a yogurt shop. With so many things, you can easily find yourself here for a good 2 hours!

Compared to the Carrollton location, this one is smaller and has more of the generic, Asian grocery store smell. It’s a distinct smell. I was unable to find some of my staple favorites at this location, which left me disappointed. But, some of the expectations were still met. Overall the location was orderly and clean and I would venture to guess that the variety in stock exceeds the current area’s markets. It is definitely an option if the traffic headed West is horrid and I need a Korean fix.

My initial thought is this: How can you NOT have Calbee Hot & Spicy chips?! That’s one of the most ‘treasured’ snacks in ALL of Asia, so how H Mart doesn’t decide to stock this is beyond me, Ladies and Gentlemen! Anywho! The location is immaculate and orderly. I love, and appreciate the fine touches, such as the Korean Bakery, Deli, and the«Asian T-Mobile» store! Ha! They virtually have everything you would ever need at competitive prices. I just relocated to DFW from Los Angeles, so it’s unfair of me to compare, however I will denote that my shopping was done in Koreatown and in Little Tokyo. Having said that, my overall impressions of H Mart were high, despite not carrying my beloved Calbee chips! UGH.
