At Glaze Cupcakery, we pride ourselves with fresh gourmet, home baked cupcakes that are made with love & care. All our cupcakes, cakes, cake pops, pumpkin rolls & cookies are made when ordered to provide you the freshest product possible. We create a variety of scrumptious classic & specialty cupcake flavors. Some of our hits include our Red Velvet and our Bananas Foster cupcakes. Every cupcake is created with close attention to detail, down to the smallest custom decoration for that special occasion.

Glaze has cupcakes for when you just need that sweet fix or for that all-​important event. Our cupcakery, located in Plano, TX, can whip up yummy treats for weddings, baby showers, baby «reveal» parties, birthdays, graduations, etc.

History

Established in 2011.

Baker & Owner, Michelle Khanin, has baked since she was a kid. She always made cakes for birthdays growing up for everyone in the her family. After taking on a few different jobs in her adult years, a layoff in 2011 left her at home to experiment baking different confections in her kitchen. The show Cupcake Wars & the Texas Cottage Food Law inspired her and gave her an opportunity to bake from her home and sell her delicious treats. In 2013, an amendment of the Texas Cottage Food law allowed Glaze to sell at farmers markets & at festivals to spread the cupcake love. Glaze Cupcakery mainly sells made to order cupcakes by the dozen (48 hours notice minimum needed) but have added on cake pops, cakes, cookies & pumpkin rolls. We are looking to add more variety to menu in the future!

Business Owner

Baking has always been a passion of mine since I was little. I am always trying to better my craft & provide the most exceptional cupcakes, cake & sweet treats to all of my clients. Being a baker has really let me express my creative side, which I believe is my strong suit. It has been a great opportunity to provide people with homemade baked goods that put a smile on their face.

My current & future aspirations are to have a retail outlet one day, to go on Cupcake Wars & to spread the cupcake love!
