Geisha Steak & Sushi

This review is more about the experience than the food. (The food was very good. Hibachi usually is).
We were greeted by the bartender as we walked in. Our server, Han was outstanding. We went upon request from our 8 year old daughter who is leaving for summer camp tomorrow.
The Hibachi chef was excellent. He pulled out a few surprise magic tricks, which were delightful.
At the end of the meal, Han wanted to reward our daughter with a dessert or treat because she was so well behaved, polite and inquisitive. He couldn’t believe she was only 8.
Definitely exceeded our expectations! Well done!

We were seated promptly. Joy was a great server and made sure we had what we needed at all times. When a couple of people in our party inadvertently ordered the wrong drink, the bartender Asher, came over to personally make sure he got the drink correct that our friends had wanted. The food is very good and a great price. Huey, the hibachi chef, was so fun and talented. All of the wait staff made sure to make our children feel special. It was overall a great night and we have already booked our next reservation!

I came here cause I wanted to eat at another restaurant but the waiting time was more than an hour… And I was really hungry… I’m lucky that happened! Cause I got to try this amazing place!!! Loved the ahi poke, the filet minon with the fried rice was completely amazing, super tender and juicy. One of the bests I have had. Sushi rolls are pretty good, very fresh and good flavor. The service was good, my waitress was nice and very attentive. I’m sure I will be coming back soon!

This is our go-​to place when we want sushi, towers or rolls…
We have been going here for years and the quality seems to keep getting better. On our last visit we ordered some seaweed salad and edoname for starters, both good but both hard to mess up. Next we had an ahi tower, which we’d highly recommend. Definitely the best we’ve had anywhere. Then we ordered a dragon roll which was devoured as soon as it hit the table. But what impressed us the most was the quality of the fish in the sushi boat. The salmon, yellow tail, ahi, etc… every piece was tender and delicious. They are definitely serving up high quality. Looking forward to our next visit.

Can’t say enough good things! Best hibachi I have ever had, and the staff as well as the owner were beyond nice. I 100% suggest this place!

Visited this location for a family birthday dinner. Aaron and the rest of the staff were wonderful in working with us as two of the members in the party have strict dietary restrictions. They made sure that they were able to accommodate and still provided great tasting food.
Kudos to them for accommodating special needs so well! Also, everyone else in the party really enjoyed their dinners.

The only reason why I stop by is because a friend had a groupon. We came by on a pretty calm night; it wasn’t crowded, so we got our seats pretty quick. Our server was a friendly man.
We decided to get an appetizer and chose the Fried Calamari. When it came out, I was expecting rings instead of strips, but the shapes doesn’t matter. What mattered was the texture and it was not overcooked. THUMBS UP. The two sauces with it was nice too, especially the yum yum sauce. Although, I don’t think the texture will be the same if the place is crowded.
The main dish was NY Steak Yakisoba. The dish had a good flavor, but it was quite greasy. After a few bites, it became a bit sickening. If they can fix that problem, the dish is good.
Other than the greasy main dish, I wouldn’t mind going back here (with a groupon).

To Tuan, I am not sure of the date but, it was the same night I wrote this review. I do know it was a Saturday night and your restaurant was busy. I am very surprised we were the only ones who walked out. Because the entire table was not happy.

price is way too much high compared to its food quality and quantity. Good place for dating though… but I probably will not come back again…

We’ve been loyal customers for over 5 years now. Actually they keep getting better & better. Our last visit really amazed me because I could see the changes over time. The environment is lovely & romantic in a simple space. Clean, inviting & comfortable. The service is always on point. Drinks are refilled & dirty dishes pick up quickly. The sushi is better now than ever. It’s always been fresh but recently they’ve been taking more time with the presentation. To me the details in presentation is getting lost in many sushi restaurants. Five Stars — definitely!

Not impressed… Wouldn’t really recommend although it wasn’t completely horrible. Soda was flat… Water tasted bad as well. My glass cup was dirty & there was a hair on my fork so dishes were not cleaned well. My hubby got the Dallas roll (sushi) for his meal and I ordered the chicken fried rice. His roll came out 15 minutes before my rice did so he was done eating before I even got my food. It wouldn’t have been such a big deal but we were wondering what was taking so long for my fried rice and we were kind of just left hanging instead of someone approaching the table and saying «your rice will be out shortly» or something to that effect… The food was good/​average though but would not go out of my way to come here again

On Wednesday night i came for dinner at Geisha because of Groupon the person who seated me happens to be my waitress, and when i was ready to order the phone ring she went to pick up the phone instead of taking my order first, shouldn’t the waitress just serve the table and have someone else answer the phone and seat people ?
Also i had waited for my food for over 20 minutes the reason that i gave 2 stars because my waitress was nice and the food was ok, not sure if i will be back.

My boyfriend and I went here about a year ago because of a Groupon I bought. The tuna rolls we got were pretty good, although the regular price is quite expensive. The sushi was decent, but not memorable. Atmosphere was nice, but it was almost empty when we went there (Monday afternoon). I give this place a 3 star rating overall.

Great experience! From the chef to the server, we had good service! Even the bartender was very friendly. Went with a family of 15 on new years eve and they accommodated us. That alone was a miracle!
I ordered the salmon and lobster… delicious. They would bring out extras of various food items which was nice. Wife thought the sushi was average so perhaps they can up their game before we return next time and earn the fifth star!

I kept seeing a groupon for this guys. I finally decided to check out for lunch with co-​workers.
It was empty in the inside. I try to let that not deter me from eating at a place.
Miso soup came with the lunch entrees. I did not like it at all. It taste like the water from the tap with a real metal, mineraly taste. It had good seasoning but the liquid just killed it.
Sushi was okay. Very basic tasting sushi. It was fresh but I’ve had fresher.
I guess I wasn’t thoroughly impressed with this place.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was exceptional! I highly recommend the steak and scallops combo at the Teppan grill! In advance of my entrée, I got the spicy salmon roll as an appetizer and it too was delish! I also highly recommend one of the best servers I’ve ever experienced at any restaurant I’ve been to, Mo. Please definitely ask for Mo if you’re able because he’s attentive without being overbearing, he offers recommendations, answers questions as to why he recommends the dishes he does, explains the menu items in detail if a patron is having trouble deciding, never lets your drink go empty and appears to truly enjoy working with and being of service to people. Awesome guy!!!
I went in one Saturday evening about 45 minutes before they closed. Not one person there made me feel as though I would be holding them up from going home on time. I was greeted promptly and graciously, and seated immediately, but not rapidly with an attitude of ‘let’s get this over with!’ Lol. I requested the Teppan grill and although no other diners were present, they had no problem putting on the hibachi show just for me. The chef didn’t hold back, shorten or negatively tailor the show due to having only one patron. He too was friendly, engaging and responsive to my chatting a bit with him.
The manager also stopped by to ask how I was enjoying my dinner. Really awesome, super nice, friendly people here with their focus on food quality and customer service very obvious! I wish I lived closer because I’d be a weekly regular! I was honestly shocked that it wasn’t more crowded even at 10:15pm.
Great place! Will definitely go again the next chance I get!

I go to a lot of sushi, hibachi Japanese restaurants. This place was recommended by
and I had some credit to use so why not? Hibachi chef was impressive and very friendly. Most of them just do their show and leave but this guy was attentive and had a great smile! Ordered filet mignon and shrimp, salad, sushi, and the miso soup. My only complaint is that the miso soup tasted bland and like it came from a package. No tofu, green onion or anything. Blah!

Although we came during a low peak hour for a post Sunday service lunch, our customer service was great. Starting with our waitress who was just the sweetest thing. Although we chose to sit at the bar, she still attended us with full attention. The Sushi chef was very knowledgeable in all the rolls and history of the food which always entertains me with fascination.
Now on to the taste of the food. Now first let me state that I’m no sushi expert but, I’ve eaten a lot of sushi all over the U. S due to traveling with Colby. The rolls we had shared to eat this evening was okay. Yes just okay but, the customer service was great. There for I rate a 4star. It’s not always about the food that brings satisfaction to you. Customer service comes a long way!

This place has the freshest fish in town! I love sitting at the sushi bar and visiting with the Chefs! I love letting the Chefs use their own ingenuity to create beautiful dishes for me. I always order off of the menu, and everything always exceeds my expectations!
The owners always make it a point to stop by and see if everything is to my satisfaction. They even taught my 13-​year-​old son how to make their fried ice cream (which is delish!) and gave him the ingredients he needed to be able to do it at home — minus the ice cream LOL) Free of charge.
The customer service is exemplary. The Hibachi Chefs are highly skilled and excellent entertainment.
I read the other reviews. Perhaps they should give this place another try.

Honestly, the sushi is okay and the hibachi doesnt seem too great. I would probably only recommend eating here if you are desperate for sushi and every other sushi joint has a long wait. I got the salmon sushi roll, spider roll, rainbow roll, and fried calamari. The rolls were average and kind of too big to fit into my mouth. The fried calamari was forgettable.
On the positive side, the restaurant provides a nice date-​like ambience and the staff is very friendly there. The hibachi is in a separate area which is nice because you dont have to leave with that fried smell that attaches to your clothes. The restaurant does have a groupon coupon right now so you’re getting a good deal.
