Best decision we ever made. If you want to save money on your air conditioning and heating costs have Energy Attic install their radiant barrier. We noticed a change in the first month. Also, their profesional install and their installers was absolutely the best. I would reccommed them to anyone who is considering radiant barrier. They also installed solar fans which was another plus to their system.

When it comes to contractors and utility people, we’ve had about a billion unpleasant to average service experiences. There have been one or two above average experiences, but it certainly seems like standards have gone done considerably. HOWEVER!
However, Energy Attic has blown us away with their honesty and their character and their work. Pricing was very competitive and the work was stellar. Even now after the job was done, the crew chief has checked up with us a couple of times to make sure we are satisfied.
Seriously, hire this company. They deserve it. They are committed and totally upfront and honest. Didn’t even upsale us. Just blown away by this company.

I was looking for a company to install radiant barrier and check ventilation before we moved into our new 18 year old home. The inspection showed poor air flow. Ryan was prompt, had a fair bid, and made logical suggestions. We put a solar powered air fan in which significantly increased air flow, and Ryan put the old fan in a new location over attic storage which keeps that space at reasonable temperatures all year. We also installed radiant barrier and blew in additional insulation. And Ryan made sure I not only had the paperwork for the tax deduction, but reminded me at tax time! Ryan and Energy Attic are superb!

I picked this company after reading some reviews. The quote was thorough and fast and really helped me understand ways to measure the efficiency, namely, get the temp in the attic down in the summer! Rick offered me several options with different price points to allow me to dial in how much I wanted to lower the temp in my attic.
I chose the radiant barrier, one solar fan, and additional blown in insulation and their team installed it in August 2015. I also installed a thermometer in the attic to verify that I received the benefits I paid for. I’ve checked it probably 10 to 15 times in the three weeks since it was installed and it is always at or below the outside temperature. So, I can actually walk into my attic on a 100 degree day an not suffocate immediately.
The install team was efficient and professional and did it all in a little over a day. I would highly recommend this company to any one who is looking to reduce energy costs. Great Job!

A friend of mine recommended Energy Attic to me. His wife has a medical condition that requires his house to be cool. His AC couldn’t keep it the temp he needed until he had the crew come out. Taking his lead I called them out for a quote which I decided to use. They installed 3 whirlybird and a passive vent. Also installed the foil radiant barrier. They advised that I had plenty of insulation and they would only need to fill where they moved the insulation during installation of the barrier. I appreciate that they didn’t try to ip sale me on a product I didn’t need. The entire crew was great to work with. From Kristina to Ryan in sales to Guy the crew foreman. As well as the actual install crew. Class act company.
The temperature in my attic is noticeably cooler which of course leads to a cooler house.
I would highly recommend this company for your home needs.

My husband and I bought our first house 3 years ago… and the first summer killed us. Our house was built in the early 1970’s…not energy efficient by any means. High electrical bill and couldn’t cool it off. We had Energy Attic come out an install foil radiant barrier, insulation, replace our soffit vents and add an extra turbine. Electrical bill dropped from $ 280 in the summer to $ 150…and we can get the temp down below 70 in the middle of the day. Best investment we have ever made!!!

The service level was great. They installed 2 solar fans, radiant barrier & added extra insulation. The guys were on time, worked hard all day and communicated throughout the process. No mess either. Can’t complain.

The only thing keeping me from giving them 5 stars is that they didn’t clean up the attic from where they cut holes in the roof for installation. Not a huge deal but a little annoying when all the stuff we have stored in the attic is covered in bits of shingles and dust. Otherwise I would highly recommend them.

I received bids from a few places but felt the customer service and overall value was a win with this company. Ryan gave me a few options and pointed out the skylights needed the batt insulation replaced. They were priced competitively and scheduled the install within a week of me accepting the bid. Our attic was in desperate need of insulation and only had between 3 – 4 inches overall. They added 14″ (formaldehyde free) to being me above code, but to the Dept. of Energy standards. I even had them add Radiant Barrier foil — which is a more efficient solution than the paint version.
The appointment (email) was set to start at 7:30−8am, but didn’t arrive until 10. I think there may have been a mistake made at the office. Either way, the guys did a great job. My GF was the one waiting at home and she did not feel uncomfortable with the crew. They were polite and she felt safe. They were mindful of our dog and did a walk thru before and after to ensure there was no damage to our ceiling. During the install process, they added light can covers, baffles and cleaned the soffit vents. They recommended a solar vent fan initially, but for my budget needs, we opted for an additional turbine.
Overall we are very satisfied. We felt a noticeable difference in comfort. Considering it’s currently cold here in Texas, the heater has not had to run as much. Some areas that had inconsistent temps feel better balanced and the house does not sound as echoee (is that even a word?). They didn’t leave a mess and Ryan even followed up to make sure we were happy.
if I could rewind time, I’d still choose them. We are ready for some Texas heat!

We recently had them come out to install their Radiant Barrier technology (if you are interested in the specs associated with this, visit their website — it is VERY informative!!) to better insulate our new house. The owner of the company, Kent, had been in construction for over 25 years and has recently (within the last 10 years) established EnergyAttic. This means that you are in GREAT hands. He definitely knows what he is doing… because he invented the system himself! In fact, many other companies around the country are now using EnergyAttic’s design because it works that well.
Kent was extremely patient with us, and informative when we had questions. On installation day, his crew showed up on time and were extremely friendly. They even played with our dogs for a moment when they got curious about what was happening up the stairs.
We have not yet had the opportunity to test the insulation in the hot Texas summer, but I don’t think we will be disappointed. Our attic looks great, and EnergyAttic was the best!
