RUDE RUDE RUDE!!! The woman that works here has absolutely NO BUSINESS being in retail. We walked in and started looking around at the displays when she storms out of the back with her hateful attitude and argumentative tone and that was actually the pleasant part. We drove there because a very nice gentleman at another store suggested that they might have what we were looking for. I told her I didn’t know the model of my insert and asked for suggestions as to where we could look. She told me that she didn’t know what model I had (no shit) and that I should look look at the papers from when I bought the house to find out. Not only was she ridiculously rude but she obviously wasn’t interested in gaining a new customer. I will never go back there.

Had chimney caps installed. Jacob, the person on the phone and all I encountered with Chimney King were very professional. They met deadlines and did not add unnecessary charges. Would recommend them!

Purchasing gas logs from this company was one of the most bizarre and frustrating experiences of my life.
I dealt with outright LIES, with the right hand not knowing what the left hand was doing, with shocking lack of information about the product or the supplier.
Also one of the employees told me that the company’s places new construction above existing construction and above repairs on existing construction.
I had to wait 12 weeks for my logs.
After 9 weeks, when I called to check on my PAID order, I was told that they were delayed at the Canadian border. Actually, I learned, my logs, which were made in California, WERE NOT YET ORDERED!!!
Chimney King did not place the order until week 9, when I asked my credit card company for a chargeback!!! An employee called me, shocked, saying, «don’t you want these?»
Lies, ineptitude and the company’s clear concern only for new construction made this a NEVER AGAIN experience for me.

Honest, friendly customer service at the shop. Quick response time for the install. Jacob made the extra effort to get the right part needed for my 1966 home gas fireplace replacement — when he could have easily ‘Frankensteined’ it. He was friendly, honest, professional, knowledgeable and had my fireplace up and running super-​fast!

Found hard to find parts for my outdated fireplace at a reasonable price. It took some time but after two other companies gave up they stuck with it and got the job done. After it was all said and done they gave me a great discount on a grill because I was a previous customer!

Chimney King was recommended by a friend. They came out today to clean the chimney, which I’m guessing hasn’t been done in several years. (we bought this house in August) They were professional and told me things to look for and when to call them back. Definitely will use them again.

I recently purchased a gas fireplace from Chimney King and had them install it in our newly built home. In the past I have found these guys to be knowledgeable but I have since discovered their service is very slow. After moving into our home we had problems with the fireplace. I called and they scheduled an appointment but the kicker was it was two weeks out. They came out and looked at the problem and were very quick to tell me that their was an electrical problem that was causing the problem. To resolve the problem they said they could bypass the thermostat by installing a wireless one and that would resolve the problem. I told them I was not interested in the $ 150 repair and would first have my licensed electrician check out the problem and get back with them. The electrician came out and found there was no problem with the wiring that he had installed. I then had to get back in the service queue but this time it was only ten days! They came out and found that their technician had installed the wiring to the fireplace incorrectly. This did resolve the problem but now we are having problems with the furnace running at a medium or highier temperature. I am now waiting again for them to come out.
Bottom line, shop them for information when making a major purchase but do not rely on the for service as it is poor at best. You can use them to clean your chimney.
