Love Susan and Joe and all the wonderful staff here! I’ve been bringing my girl since she was only months old and she LOVES to play all day. Owners and staff are true dog lovers and are attentive to all the animals. Safe, clean, loving enviroment — not fancy by any means — no need for glitz and glamor! Your dog will have a wonderful time here and I never worry about mine when she is visiting!

We frequently take our two dogs to Dog’s play for daytime activities and boarding.
We have done so for many years.
The owners and staff are attentive to the needs of our beloved pets as well as our requirements for their care and safety.
There have been several times where we have just required a last minute drop off so that we could have our animals out of the house for a day. We make a telephone call and there is not a problem.
There have occasions where I have run slightly late to pick up an animal due to the distance from my office & traffic or weather.
Ultimately communications is key. A simple telephone call and the problem is resolved.
The owners have been kind gracious and wonderful to work with.
We highly recommend this place for boarding or for daycare for your beloved pet.

These guys greet our dog with excitement each time we bring her in. They truly love ALL dogs here, even our super-​hyper, crazy little Boxer.

Absolutely love Dog’s Play!!! Susan was fantastic with introducing my pup to the concept of doggy daycare. He was a bit reactive and not at all sure about what other dogs were when I got him, so I called up Susan and after talking to her on the phone about my pup, she said to bring him on by for a half day of doggy daycare to get him started and see how he does. So I brought him by the next day and when I went to pick him up, both he and she were ecstatic. She gave me the details on how he did and how he played, how he did meeting new people, and she even took videos of him. I was so impressed and even happier my guy seemed to love it.
Ever since then my pup has been bouncing into Dog’s Play with a happy attitude and leaving with an even happier one. It’s so cute to see his whole butt wagging with his tail when he sees Susan, and she’s just as happy to see him! I see such a difference in the way he sees other dogs now and I absolutely cannot thank Susan, her husband, Gina, and the other awesome staff there for what they do. All play is monitored with the dogs, preventing any bad habits and helping dogs communicate a bit better and not get over excited, and they always have a detailed report on how your pup did that day. It’s really a fantastic place to leave your pup while you work.
I have also had the pleasure of boarding Hendrix with them over the holidays. And I have to say, he came back one happy and tired pup! If your dog has certain food or medical needs, just let them know and they can handle it. They told me how well he ate (or didn’t eat, but with my guy that’s almost never a problem) and how he did while I was away (which was fabulous thanks to them!). Even better I noticed my guy had picked up some awesome habits after staying there (though I’m not sure if they taught him them specifically or if he picked them up by watching) which is a huge plus! If I ever go out of town again I’m so glad to know Hendrix will be well taken care of and happy at Dog’s Play!
I highly suggest you take your pup to Dog’s Play. Their staff is fantastic and the price is great too!

We had to board our puppy bichon for the first time EVER and had just moved to Plano the day before. We were very nervous and anxious about where to select a great place. Let me tell you, this place is by far the best I have come in contact with. Unilocal did not disappoint! Bc of all the positive reviews we chose them… I called and they catered to showing me and my dog around. They have huge play pens, big kennels, and most importantly knowledgeable and sincere staff! I even called to check on our dog while we were OOT and Susan let me know all the 411 on our baby. So great to know we will recommend and continue taking Mia there for grooming, daycare, boarding and personal training! Pick this place for sure!

All 5 of these stars go to Susan (owner). I was looking for a good «doggie day care» spot to take my puppy for energy burn, socialization (with other dogs and especially other people), and to get used to occasionally staying away from home (in the event she needs to be boarded).
With the other good reviews/​recommendations of Dog’s Play, I figured I’d ring them up and visit the center. I really like that they’re open to visits/​tours and that they require paperwork (making sure all dogs are healthy and vaccinated) along with an «interview» to make sure dogs are appropriate to attend. When I arrived for our initial interview and tour, I was greeted by Susan. Hendrix was about 4 months old at the time, and she was displaying some fear issues with strangers (mostly barking). Susan immediately knew how to change up her body language to put her at ease. In that moment, I knew I had found a place where my puppy would be in very good hands. I first took Hendrix to stay and play for a half day, and when I returned to pick her up — Susan showed me some video she captured on her flip camera of her playing.
Great things about Dog’s Play: there’s 3 separate play areas (usually divided up by small, medium, and large dogs). Dogs are usually grouped according to where they fit in well for play. There’s also boarding areas away from the play area — where sometimes older or dogs not appropriate for play can rest easy. This is one of the really great things about Dog’s Play — they make every possible effort to get to know each dog (including their names) and group them and/​or give them the best suited attention.
My pup (now almost 8 months) has gotten considerably better with her people socialization (she runs for Susan & some of the other gals with a happy wagging tail). She barks at new people a lot less & is generally less fearful as a result of her socialization at Dog’s Play.
The only drawback I can think of– the lack of a big outdoor dog run with grass. BUT… you can’t have it all ;) They do have an outside area for potty breaks, but the dogs frequent use has taken its toll on the grass they did have. However, they make the best use of the spaces they have and the people MORE THAN make up for a lack of grass.

We’ve been taking Charlie (our huge beloved Airedale Terrier) to Dog’s Play since he was a wee pup.
We love this place. Susan (the owner) knows every dog by name and greets them with more excitement than when she sees the actual human owners. Hilarious.
Not only are they a doggy day care center, but also a boarding, training and full on grooming facility. We take advantage of ALL their services. They loved our dog so much that they used him in a grooming training video! How cute!!! (*Proud stage mama here).
I also love their boarding, because they are not kept in a cage all day. They have 3 play pens, 1 for large, 1 for medium and 1 for small dogs. They literally play all day and have tons of outdoor time. The price is sooooo right for all this. Usually a place like this would run for about $ 45 a day/night…Dog’s Play is around $ 25. True. Charlie is so pooped when he comes home, he sleeps for days.
One thing… I know there are so many places in Dallas to take your dogs too, but we live Downtown and I drive 40 minutes to bring him here. Worth every drive, $ and time.

We take our dog here to get his nails clipped. He also got a full groom before our wedding (he was the ring bearer!). They are great here. They are super friendly and relaxed. Our dog likes them too. He’s a huge dog and they’re great with him, and very patient. They give him peanut butter, so that makes him one happy pup. :)
