Through continuing education and advanced training, Dr. Statz stays current in the latest dental techniques, including CEREC same-​day crowns, dental implants, Invisalign, and the iTero scanning system. Exceptional General, Family, and cosmetic dental office previously owned by Dr. Charles «Ed» Jones, was purchased in 2007 by Dr. Dennis M. Statz.

Dennis M. Statz, DDS

Dr. Statz graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Pharmacy in 1986 and has been a registered pharmacist in the state of Texas since August 1986. After working at Children’s Medical Center for approximately 7 years, he went on to attend the Baylor College of Dentistry, graduating in 1995. He worked as an Associate and owned his own Practice before settling in Plano, Texas. In his continuing efforts to expand his knowledge and upgrade the technology in his Practice, Dr. Statz has completed all courses at the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study. He also completed implant training at the world-​renowned Misch International Implant Institute, affiliated with Temple University. Dr. Statz completed the Mini-​Residency TMJ Study Program with Steve Olmos at the TMJ Therapy Center, the leader in training for dental professionals in the study and treatment of TMJD and related sleep disorders.
