Meet the Business Owner
Dave S.
Business Owner
Hi, I am Dave Steinman — local owner and operator of College Hunks Hauling Junk here in Dallas, Frisco, Plano and other neighboring communities. Since graduating from the University of Hartford (Connecticut), I have spent the majority of my career in the airline, hospitality and travel technology industries in a variety of management and leadership positions — most notably with companies such as American Airlines, Sabre and BCD Travel.
After being laid off from a corporate position in 2009, I decided to look at some opportunities to be my own boss. But, who could have thought that about 75 years after him, I would be following in my grandfather’s footsteps. While he did it by horse and buggy and we operate by truck, the goal remains the same — to rid our residential and commercial customers of unwanted items in a friendly, courteous and timely way.
