I used to love it here and I’m
In the youth group and today a pastor said something very transphobic and it was in the youth group! I’m very upset I’m now attending a new church that is not at all transphobic or homophobic

Nice, expensive cardstock on their programs, cool video montages on big screens, free coffee bar, eclectic gift shop & art deco w/​Edison light bulb chandelier, rock ‘n roll music, & funny, harmless looking pastors in jeans speaking to nice middle class families. «Come As You Are»?Maybe, maybe not. «Be transformed» is another theme. Only it may not mean what you think.

My husband and I have been attending here for seven years. We both have extensive religious educations and had a hard time finding a church that engaged us. Chase Oaks is awesome. They discuss the bible and how it relates to your life in a way that engages the super biblically educated and the person who is just starting to learn. They do amazing mission work both locally and global. I am so happy that we found this church. My daughter loves kids zone.

I’ve been attending for many years. Great church to learn the Bible in application to our daily lives. Wonderful opportunities for children’s ministries and being part of community (s).
Aug 30^th & Sep 6^th, 2015 will be great days to show your Big 10 pride by wearing cardinal red or your fav Wisconsin Badgers shirt. Fyi, Pastor Jeff preaches ‘the greatness of Alabama’ football so you’ll need to be sensitive to this particular challenge he has to overcome. Thankfully Jesus loves even Alabama fans. It’s true.

This place is big BUT dont let that turn you off. Once you come in you’re greeted by people who are genuinely happy to see you, you enter in to the service where worship is shared, and hear a message from (gasp) the bible, then you will see. Chase Oaks has a unique variety: cultures, economic backgrounds, life stages. The leadership is real… caring, humble, accountable people. Love that! The people are friendly, and embrace you immediately. It does take a little while (like anywhere else) to get to know people but they offer several options to help you find your way. Soon you will find them like a second family, you are treated as a person and not just another number. My kids enjoy the youth and have found places to serve there. This has become our home since about 2yrs ago. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking the word of God.
Come as you are. Be transformed. Make a difference.

does Anyone know if this church is gay friendly?

I am person from china and I don’t believe god before. the reason is obvious .i write this review all because from my heart. thanks god I join in this church. From a unbeliever to believer, the chase oaks gives me too much. all the people in this church is very nice: from the guy open door to the guy make coffee. even if u are not a Christian they still treat u as friends. It’s fortunate for me to dinner with some manager of this church, no matter what words I said (I use to a prude people no mercy in my heart) they still love me. because I am from

I was hesitant to write this review, because frankly it feels a little weird to review a church, but I found Chase Oaks through Unilocal and want to pay it forward. This place has been life-​changing for me, and I hope my words help someone make the decision to give it a try.
This is a wonderful, welcoming church. They promote themselves as a «come as you are» place of worship, and they mean it. If you’re not sure about church in general, or you haven’t gone to church in years, or if you’ve never set foot in a church in your life, you will feel just as welcomed here as someone who arrives as a lifelong believer. My husband has never been much of a church-​goer, and even he enjoys the service. The music is great (seriously, it’s so enjoyable I’m going to buy a CD), and the pastors are all very down-​to-​earth and relatable. If you’re unfamiliar with the Bible, the pastors are amazing at breaking it down and helping you understand how it’s related to you and your everyday life.
So, if you’re thinking about «kicking the tires of Christianity,» as they say, this is the place to start. You won’t regret it. You’ll leave feeling refreshed. I do every week.

This church holds a special place in my heart. I was led here and found my faith in Christ and God here. I will always love this church and feel it is my church home no matter where my path leads! I felt comfortable and welcome, I love the mix of ethnicity and the over all down to earth vibe. When they say they are a «come as you are» church, they are not kidding. Truly come how you are mentally and physically, there is no pompousness to be found — just real people trying to worship God together and grow as Christians.
This church provides a ton of groups and support, you can truly get «plugged in» either for your own needs or if you are trying to become more active in a serving capacity. There are divorce care programs, substance/​emotional abuse programs, pretty much anything you need can be found here. Or if you are just looking for a life group or study group– you have come to the right place. They are very active in the local community and globally — they have a huge commitment to serve however they can.
I can’t say enough great things about the head Pastor Jeff. I love how he delivers his messages each week and I love all the guest speakers. They have a great kid’s program for all ages, and wonderful children’s pastors.
I am so so very sad to be moving away to where I can’t attend in person anymore, but I will still listen online and I will always remember my physical home where God called me.

Chase Oaks is by far the best church around in North Texas. I thoroughly enjoy the teaching and Bible centeredness that the leadership always try to stay focused on. Everyone there is very down to earth. And the humbleness that characterizes all the pastor team is amazing. The children’s ministry is very well organized, my children sometimes request that we even go twice or even three times during a weekend. It is awesome by far. Chase Oaks recently opened a Spanish speaking ministry in East Plano. And they also have a church in Fairview. They are not preachy and it is very much come as You Are. I know we did.

Finally found an awesome church to call home. This is the type of church where you can feel welcomed without all the «churchy» people up in your throat getting into your personal life. You come as you are and no one will judge. I look forward to Sundays attending service and grub on Chinese food across the street!

My husband and I have been calling Chase Oaks our home church for about four years. We enjoy the come as you are atmosphere and the friendly people. We are in a LifeGroup, which helps you feel more connected since the church is large and growing weekly. Best church experience of my life thus far!

When I started attending Chase Oaks, I cared little for Christianity. I only attended to please my wife and make sure my kids were treated correctly. What I found was amazing.
The church is very welcoming. You’ll never deal with row after row of death glares as you find your seat, just because you look different. In fact, you’ll find the opposite. Church members are friendly and outgoing. For those with special needs children, the church offers a special class to suit their needs. You’ll never have to worry about getting called out of service every five minutes because the staff knows how to take care of them. Those who want to get plugged into ministry will find multiple opportunities to serve.
To get the best experience, it is suggested that you attend a lifegroup. Lifegroups give you an opportunity to build friendships within the church, reducing the chance of feeling lost in a sea of people. Lifegroups also provide opportunities to serve within your home neighborhood.
It is rare to find a church that welcomes all while remaining true to the foundation it is built upon, but Chase Oaks accomplishes this. I am proud to call Chase Oaks my church home.

Have been attending Chase Oaks for nearly a year. Like the service, the pastors and have gotten involved with a LifeGroup.
LifeGroups are groups of adults that meet several times a month (ours meets twice a month) for fellowship, dinner & a good time. Since they base it on where you live, several of the people in my LifeGroup are walking distance to my house or a short car ride away.
My husband & I were both raised differently in regards to religion, so it is a great church for us both.
