Business Owner

Hi, I am Pompa. An Electrical Engineer, a software professional, a home maker and a full time mom of two daughters. Life has been very busy all these years and at times little boring until I found my true passion. A cake artist!

I have always wanted to do something creative, painting being one of my hobbies. Various cake shows like cake boss, cup cake wars etc fascinated me a lot.

Today a cake is not just baked in oven with some icing on it, there is so much more. Its the center piece of your party. Cakes are made according to the occasion or your party theme, adding your personal touch be it the pattern on your dress or just an abstract imagination, can be anything, as we tell creativity has no boundaries. It needs to taste good and be visually interesting too.

After taking the wilton courses and few other professional classes I started making cakes. I am constantly trying latest trends and techniques, and new recipes too; please check my gallery to see my latest work.

Ms. Pompa did an AMAZING job on our cake. This was for my husband’s 38th birthday, which happened to fall on Friday the 13th. I sent pictures and requested a bloody Jason mask cake with a knife on it. (Keeping with the theme).
We were all impressed with the results. We got chocolate cake with oreo filling. Husband is not a cake person at all and loved it. Everyone in our area of the restaurant were amazed at this work of art. The waitstaff even asked to take pictures. :-)
The cake was a difficult one, but Ms. Pompa handled it with ease. The cake was moist, but not wet, fluffy, flavorful but not overpowering. Tasty but not too sweet. Everything balanced out.
Ms. Pompa will be my cake creator ongoing. She responded to my initial request promptly and askes questions to make sure that she understood my vision. Whatever her heart desires, she will be able to create it and make it a reality.

Pompa did an awesome job… First of all she was so nice to take the order even though she was so over booked and my order was pretty last minute… The cake was awesome. tasted good… decorated well. and all my guests loved it! She did the Frozen themed cake for my daughters 4th birthday…

Great cake. It came out beautiful. My daughter and her friends absolutely loved it. Ms. Pompa is patient hearing out your ideas and will add her own streak of creativity to get it right. Go ahead give this a shot if you are looking for something unique instead of the run of the mill grocery store cake.

I found Cake It! on Unilocal because we were coming to Dallas for a gymnastics competition on my daughter’s 10th birthday. We asked for a gymnastics themed cake with a very fast turnaround (2 days) and we got way more than we expected. The cake was DELICIOUS and BEAUTIFUL. Our daughter loved it (and so did everyone at the party). The buttercream was the best I have ever had and even the fondant tasted amazing. Thank you again for making it for us at the last minute. This cake will always be part of our memories for our trip to Dallas.

Not only was the cake so cool, it also tasted amazing! The kids LOVED it. And the 6 year old even wanted to take pictures of it before we dug into it. I wanted to deliver an eggless cake in Texas and was searching for a vegan bakery online and found cake it. I gave Pompa my budget and the flavor i wanted. She designed the best cake in my budget and since i stay in boston she sent me a picture of the cake too before delivery. I had the best experience with cake it and would definitely order more cakes from her in future.
