Bain & Associates, Inc. is an independent residential real estate appraisal firm located in Plano, Texas. We provide appraisals in Dallas/​Fort Worth and the surrounding suburbs. We specialize in single family real estate appraisals in Dallas, Collin, & Denton counties. In addition, we also service Tarrant and Rockwall Counties.

History

Established in 1988.

David Bain is President of Bain & Associates, Inc. His appraisal career started after graduating from the University of Texas in 1982. He developed an interest in real estate while in college and the appraisal field was a natural fit. He is a Texas State Certified Appraiser and holds a Texas real estate brokers license. He is also a member of the Employee Relocation Council, National Association of Realtors, and the Foundation of Real Estate Appraisers. He has participated in numerous appraisal seminars as well as broker/​appraiser roundtables. He is frequently asked to speak to groups of Realtors and lenders regarding appraisal topics. David is also a leader in appraisal technology. He is a previous beta tester for Alamode, the largest appraisal software firm in the country. He also was asked and participated in the beta testing of the E-​Relay relocation electronic commerce network. He was among the first appraisers to make the digital switch.
