Nothing but clothes. Along the back wall there is a couple of racks sparsely populated with glassware/houseware/electronics and that’s it. If you are looking for that stuff like I was, don’t waste your time.

I’m a thrift store professional. This is my favorite thrift store in NE Texas. I’ve been clothing my family from this store for 3 generations. If I ever need to kill some time, this is where I go. Up until recently I’ve had zero complaints but lately I’ve noticed that the sizes aren’t in order like they used to be. The last thing I want to do is go through every single dress to find my size. I let it go the first time I noticed it, 2nd time I noticed it let it go, but now on my 3rd trip in a row it seems to be a new thing. Please if you’re reading this please organize. I’ll keep going here and the only reason I didn’t give them a 5 is because there isn’t a dressing room & if anyone has ever been to Saver’s in Austin then you know what a 5 is.

O.K. Normally, I review only restaurants, but recently, I’ve discovered the joys of thrift store shopping. It’s kinda funny how I lived next door to a thrift store but I’ve NEVER went inside. I’ve donated stuff to places like Animal Rescue Club, Salvation Army, and Goodwill before, but you don’t have to enter the store to donate stuff. All my friends and family turn their noses up at thrift stores. My father even said that used clothes carry diseases and my mom said that it’s bad juju if you use stuff that belonged to someone who died. Everyone is just shocked that I actually went in. However, if you think about it, do you really know how many people and who has tried on the«new» clothes you buy at your local mall before you bought it? Also, if you own any antiques, the previous owner is probably dead, right? How do you know if that 18th century armoire has«bad juju» before you bought it? Just wash the clothing items before you wear it like you normally do and you’ll be fine. This store is arranged differently than other thrift stores. They over price everything then, decrease the price every week until someone buys it. So, if you’re buying something that nobody else wants(you have unusual tastes), then you’ll score big. This is a working class neighborhood, so everyone is employed in crappy manual labor jobs here. After a day of slaving away, nobody in this neighborhood will«work out». That’s because their job is a workout. That’s why the exercise equipment at this store is at stupendous prices. I saw a Nordic Track for… «drum roll»… $ 20! I bought one new for $ 550FIFTEENYEARSAGO. With inflation, these things are probably over a thousand dollars new nowadays. I also saw some reasonably priced bicycling machines, dumbbells, etc.

This place is a true gem. I rely on The Thrift Store(which is the name of this place on the signage –no mention of any animal klub) for my vintage clothing fix. I’ve found Christian Dior, Chloe, Versace, J Crew, Loft, Frye, and authentic Coach, some brand new with tags. Amazing selection of jeans, sweaters, coats and blazers for men and women. This is one of the best thrift stores in the DFW area. Warning: No dressing rooms!

Good, bad, and ugly. I am a little confused because it is called, «Thrift Store» and doesnt say anything about Animal Klub, but the address matches. I found some great things for good prices(Style & Co. black suit coat) and crappy stuff for high prices(funky material lime green top for $ 9). Worth checking out for sure.

I am a little torn about this place. Do I give it 2 stars, 2.5, or 3? Somewhere in that range… I really like the fact that some(or all?) of the proceeds go to a local animal shelter. I also like that they are fairly organized and the clothing selection is decent. They had a smaller section of newer clothes at the front that were significantly marked down. My major gripe about this place is the fact that there are NODRESSINGROOMS! I know I can’t expect that with a thrift store, but it’s REALLY helpful. At least hang up a curtain? Something? Please? All I had to work with was a full-length mirror hung on a wall that was being used by a couple of blondies with a gazillion clothes they wanted to try on. Prices were just a *tad* high, but I did see some pieces that were marked down to a reasonable price. It’s possible that I will be back when I have more time to shop around. I can see the value in spending money here since it benefits an animal shelter. That alone gave it an extra star. Put a dressing room in and I’ll gladly dole out a couple more.

This thrift store has a great selection of modern clothes at fair prices but no dressing rooms to try things on and a no return policy. If you’re confident of your size and everything looks good on you, you’ll love this place. I grabbed a few shirts for my son but I didn’t risk anything for me. Overall the store is very clean and full of workers straightening. Their selection of household items and toys is poor.

I am in love! I am not sure why this is Animal Rescue Klub… but. it is one hell of a thrift store. I just snagged several 70’s vintage pieces plus brand spanking new Michael Kors dress and a Bebe skirt for super prices. The quality of the items here seem to be very good. They have a lot of 80’s crap that is outrageous, but is always good for a laugh. Organized just right, not TOO organized, but not too cluttered either. Aisles are pretty narrow, but I’ve been in worse. I will definitely be stopping by this thrift store more often! Vintage goodies plus brand new nicer items? Sawweeeet!

This is a thrift store, whose name is appropriately The Thrift Store. They have a great selection of clothing that’s well organized.
