What can I say — Amazeballz is amazing! We pick these up for parties every chance we get, just to sneak a few. We love every flavor combination — especially the booze balls! Jamie and her team are incredible. Get some Amazeballz. You won’t be disappointed.

Love having Amazeballs in the neighborhood! Every visit is always so pleasant. Staff is friendly, great assortment to choose from, and delicious perfectly sized treats to satisfy my sweet tooth. Their treats are also really visually appealing so they make a great gift. My kids’ teachers get SUPER excited when we send them as gifts. Highly recommend!

To… die…for!!! I dream about these little sweet delights. They are much larger than any cake balls that I’ve tried in the past, so, well worth the price. They are also very tasty and moist. I especially crave the seasonal favors. I’ve gifted these to friends and family on several occasions, and they were a hit at my 7-year-old’s birthday party. They are so cute in the packaging, and I love buying local. The price and quality is worth more than any chain I’ve experienced.

I finally visited today after hearing about this bakery from all of my friends. The cake balls are fantastic! As I walked in, the owner greeted me while also simultaneously helping another client, which is a rare feat, indeed. There were over 10 different flavors of cake balls to choose from, not including the 5 or so Boozeballs. Even more importantly, there was dedicated parking, meaning that I could get in and out in under 10 minutes, which is often hard to do in downtown Plano. I ordered a dozen balls for $ 20, and that was a steal! Each ball is only three bites, but it feels like a full dessert! While I want to eat all twelve right now because they taste so good, my stomach is full from eating two! This place is a must-try.

My family and I have been visiting Amazeballz nearly once a week since it opened. We each prefer different cake flavors, and the delectable variety of cake balls allows each of us to leave happy. I’ve tried almost every flavor by now plus several other products like cupcakes, cookies, and blueberry muffins. Everything is fresh and delicious, plus each product is so beautifully decorated that it seems like an individual work of art. The icing on the cake(ball) is that Jamie and her staff are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. I love that I can indulge my sweet tooth(one small serving at a time) while supporting a small, family-owned business. It’s a win-win!

I’ve been following Amazeballz since the beginning and have been very impressed with their operation. Not only are the cakeballs delicious, but the entire experience is one of attention to detail and great customer service. There are always some flavors I’m just not ever going to like(even if they are very popular with others), but there are always plenty of flavors I love to make it very difficult for me to decide how to fill my order. My personal favorites: Peanut Butter Chocolate and Dreamsicle! Then there’s the matter of sharing them. There have been a few times when I’ve offered one of my cakeballs to someone and got the response, «Oh, no thanks – those kinds of things are too sweet and filling for me.» …only for them to change their mind and eat two or three of them. Bring them to an office meeting and everyone will love you! The closest thing I can think of in terms of their appeal is the addictiveness of Girl Scout Cookies with the presentation of Krispy Kreme. They’ve got a great product amd a great business and I have no doubt they’ll go far!

I don’t know if it was an off day, but I went in for the first time today and I was unpleasantly surprised. I had read the good reviews so my mom and I ordered a variety of cake balls, a red velvet cupcake, and a strawberry cupcake. The brownie cake balls were the best, but not worth the calories or the price. The Red velvet was not worth it either. The chocolate covered strawberry was really gross, it tasted like artificial strawberry flavor from jello or cough medicine. The Smores had a weird spicy flavor in it? It didn’t taste anything like smores. The Strawberry cupcake was disgusting. It looked good but tasted honestly like vomit. There isn’t another way to describe it. Maybe it was sitting in a case too long with other flavors? I have no idea, but it was really bad. We spent $ 25, and we couldn’t finish any of the flavors, my mom and I both tried a bite of the flavors but couldn’t swallow some of them. I don’t know if it was an off day but I would definitely not go back.

This place is a little stop of heaven. I have tried almost every flavor and I loved them all! These are not overly sweet, just the right amount of yummy! Great price I think for what you are getting. These are not the run of the mill cake balls they are so flavorful and made very well. Definitely be back!

Never been back! For the owner to imply I was looking for something for free when I spent $ 40 in her shop is an insult! I make it a point to tell everyone about the curt and self righteous post from the owner. They were good! It was her attitude towards me as a patron and customer that will keep me away and telling everyone around here about her. Seriously I spent a lot of money with her and she INSULTSME! Who does that!

Just 3 stars on first visit… but there will be more. Great to walk over from downtown Plano or across from Haggard Park for dessert. Lots of customers on Sat Oct 2015 lunch hour maybe from activities in park across the street. We had pumpkin spice, carrot cake and something yummy. All too good. We need to get back sooner than later.

I woke up today with the need to put some balls in my mouth. I wasn’t up for meatballs, even if they were Swedish.(Sorry IKEA.) And every other type of ball I was planning didn’t measure up. I needed an amazing mouthful. That’s when I went through my Unilocal bookmarks and saw Amazeballs. With a name like that, how could they not have great balls to satisfy my needs? I grabbed a friend, and tossed her in the passenger side as we weathered cramped GWB traffic, and the congestion of construction and Labor Day weekend rush hour and made our way right to this place. It’s right next to the courthouse on 15th Street… and the parking is angled and easy to slide into. Once there, we delighted over the delicious display of sugary scro– cake balls — and indulged in their decadence. I walked out $ 20 lighter, but with a dozen of the sexiest schweet balls you can imagine: red velvet, brownie, salted caramel brownie, birthday cake, orange creamsicle, carrot cake, strawberry… Damn this place. Now I have a new oral fixation. Perfect for those lonely nights.

Amazeballs! Perfect name. Loved this place. Not a bad flavor in sight and when we tried them(literally right away) they definitely didn’t disappoint! The magarita booseball is sooo good. Can’t wait to come back.

I love cake balls. I really do. When I heard about this place, I was already pumped. But then you go on their website and there’s an entire other menu just for cake balls with alcohol in them? Yes please. The store front is in downtown Plano, so I though it’d be a struggle to park. They have their own parking, which was a nice surprise. The guy came out from the back and was very friendly. The non-alcoholic flavors are marked with what flavors they are, but the alcoholic ones you have to ask about. We each got 2 cakeballs. I got the Italian cream and my Boozeball was almond joy w/coconut vodka. The almond joy was good. My boyfriend has never had cakeballs and describes it as «cookie dough covered in a hard shell». The Italian cream was incredible. Like, maybe the best cakeball I have had. Cakeballs are pricy. They are everywhere, but it may surprise newcomers. For 4 cakeballs, it was 11.50. However, the cashier also gave us two free mini cupcakes that were Chocolate Coffee. I would definitely come back to try more things, but it can’t be all the time since it’s a little expensive.

Not only are the owners super friendly, the cake balls are delicious! I tried the Strawberry Lemon flavor and it tasted so good on this summer day. I will definitely be coming back to purchase more. They have a rewards program too!

Jaime is a dessert queen! Her cake balls are excellent, but also CONSISTENT! I can’t wait to try the boozeballs. She is always energetic and welcoming. The demand is pretty high, so if you want a large selection you better get there early(although she’s always making more when the case is empty). I have been there enough times that I carry my six-count cellophane case in my car. Oops. Thanks for making downtown Plano extra sweet! The love and care that goes into hand-rolling and hand-dipping each of these little bites of heaven is time-consuming. I have made my own cake balls and I’ve seen Jaime and her staff charge through a several-thousand-ball order in a week. Their consistency of quality is to be revered! Keep up the great work! P. S. If you’ve ever had cake in your entire life, you won’t need a FREESAMPLE to ensure you’re going to like every single thing Jaime bakes, just based on the name. There was only one flavor I had that I didn’t like(and I tried the odd ones, like PB&J and Pink Lemonade – both surprisingly awesome), Chocolate Maple Bacon, and it is simply because I prefer bacon separate from dessert.

The whole concept of cake balls is a great idea, small, high quality taste indulgence. I dropped in to try them yesterday and I was very surprised at how good they are. I got the six pack and 5 different flavors of which I’ve eaten 4 already. The candy-like shells are thicker than expected and very tasty, the cake interior is moist and each one was different. Lots of variety, I’m sure I try some new flavors again soon. I know they’re very fresh because I walk by there several times a day and see the owner in early each morning getting the day’s selection ready. The only possible drawback is the handmade small batch production means they run short sometimes. Great gift idea or an alternative for other pastries to take to work or a meeting. I suspect this first location will be the beginning of something big for its owners.
