This place is such a hidden gem. You could easily mistake it for an abandoned shack and drive straight past it, but its loyal customers know the truth, and it keeps them coming back again and again! And I don’t just mean because they’re alcoholics!
This place has the cheapest wine prices you can find in Mass, and I’ve even found bottles selling for less than they do in New Hampshire. The owner won’t buy it if he can’t get a deal on it. The usual cashier, Frank, may come across as a grump, but he’s a teddy bear once you get to know him a little bit.
Don’t come looking for unusual beers because you won’t find them here, but if you live anywhere within a couple of towns of Plainville and you like wine, make this your go-​to spot! I live 2 towns over now, but I still make it a point to stop in for a bottle or two once in a while. And the liquor prices are pretty unbeatable as well!
