Macri School of Music was established in 2002 in Plainville, CT under the direction of Frank Macri, who has over 20 years teaching experience. Frank’s vision was to establish an innovative educational environment that filled all of a budding or evolving musician’s requirements. One place where students could develop and hone their skills in private lessons, cultivate network contacts, participate in informal concerts or jam sessions, and attend various skill-building workshops. Macri School of Music does it all and does it well.

Meet the Business Owner
Frank M.
Business Owner
Frank Macri is an accomplished musician and music teacher specializing in guitar lessons. He has been teaching guitar lessons for the past 25 years. He is owner of the Macri School of Music where he provides lessons in guitar and piano. He graduated from the Hartford Conservatory and also studied at Berklee School of Music and Central CT State University. He performed nationally for over 10 years in an all original band. In addition, Frank played with various rock, blues, and jazz musicians throughout the country. His talent combined with his ability to communicate with students allows him to adapt to all styles of guitar. He worked 12 years for the National Music Workshop doing live clinics, group classes, and private instruction ranging from rock, jazz, blues, and country. Frank recently had the opportunity to work at Louis Toffolon School in Plainville and provide group instruction to advanced music students where the goal was to collaborate with another music teacher in o
