Chili’s Grill & Bar

I always enjoy going to this chilies but I must say after how slow the dinner service was on Saturday night I’ll never go back on a weekend unless it’s for lunch. We tend to get the dinner and drinks for $ 35 which think is a very good deal for the amount of food you get. I’ve never had a single problem with the food, it’s always quite delicious. The drinks are quite good as well. Although I was very upset to find out they stopped serving the Blue Raspberry Coronarita, it was my absolute favorite there.

What is the point of call ahead seating? We had a party of 9 coming for 6:30. We called at 5:30 for the (call ahead seating). We arrived and told the host you can split the party if it’s quicker. The host says” it will be about 20 – 25 min wait. After watching party of 4’s and 5’s that came after us and get seated before us without (call ahead seating). You can imagine how I feel. After 45 minutes they seated us. Split! WTF. The manager tries to explained himself that made absolutely no sense and resolved no explanation for the situation. The food took forever to come out. So bad, that people chewed and screwed. If you can’t handle 9, you should warn us on the phone. Should of read the Unilocal reviews. I’m going to give corporate a heads up. The only thing that made our night a little better, was our waitress. She bust her butt all night to try to help us with everything. Even though it wasn’t her fault. I’m thankful for her because she lighten my mood.

This Chilis has gone so down hill the past year. We just got takeout. My eggrolls were soggy and not even cut up like at the restaurant. They tasted horrible and last time I got them at the restaurant they were so good. My dad said his salmon wasn’t good. The portion of rice and broccoli was so small. My mom got steak and shrimp fajita, they gave her chicken. 55 dollars for nothing. Very disappointed they need to get this restaurant back to what it used to be. The menu options aren’t great anymore either.

Flat beer cold and late food on a Wednesday night. What more could you ask for? A non existent manager. Last visit here for sure

The food is always good. The service is not… they always seem to be understaffed. We wanted to use the app to put our name instead of calling ahead. The app said no wait. When we got there it was a 30 minute wait. When we told the hostess the app said no wait… she replied «What app»? The manager came and was also clueless about it. Disappointing

Always delicious food after winning big at Plainridge Park Casino. The hostess and wait staff is always so professional and friendly. The extra crispy crispers are mouth watering. The corn on the cob is perfectly buttered and seasoned, melting in your mouth with every bite.

Food was ok waitress was fine at first got us drinks after we ordered food, never saw our waitress again! Had to go the the bar too get a drink refill napkins a box for our food they joked the 3^rd time that we were the «forgotten» table! Lol very funny. I hope the waitress is ok thought I saw her face on a milk carton.

It was just SO bad. 10 mins before the waitress comes over, 20 mins of our drinks sitting at the service bar before she brought them, we never got the water we asked for (3 times), 30 additional mins before she brings me the wrong order, which is both cold AND burnt at the same time, which is a clear indication that the kitchen and then the waitress forgot about you. I didn’t eat a bite, she comes by and clears the dishes so quick and doesn’t ask if everything is okay. It was almost astonishingly bad, so bad that I can’t even use punctuation I’m so frustrated. I was one of her 2 tables. I will never return, chilis we know you’re a chain and won’t go out of business, but Plainville chilis is one of those ones riding the coat tails of the better locations, have some dignity in what you’re offering.

Worst chilis I’ve been too. Wait staff couldn’t care less and the food was just terrible. Meat was super salty and somehow still flavorless. Too much cheese product and sodium all around.

I love this place and the bartender with the musto shirt she’s awesome and entertaining. Great service good food.

I went here wanting to try their «top shelf» tacos. If they continue to make them like mine do yourself a favor and go to Taco Bell instead…
If they follow the same standards as they did with mine I’d suggest ordering something else since most of their items are very good!
This visit I’m giving it a 3 star because my girlfriends meal was great! 5 stars for her grilled sirloin with avocado and 1 star for my «top shelf» chicken ranchero soft tacos so that’s why I bumped it up to a very generous 3 star rating. I told the waitress that I was very disappointed, pointing to the menu photo and asking do these look at all like the photo? She agreed and said she could get some more fillings for it (less the meat). I declined and she left. Now usually a manager comes over to check on a unhappy customer but I guess the manager was too busy to bother even though the place was only half full. I don’t blame the waitress but the cook should be trained on how to make and present promotional items.

Makes a big difference when you have kids and the wait is supposed to be 15 minutes and it’s 50 minutes. very poor. Oops gets worse order regular coke get diet

Been here quit a bit and no issues. Always good food and service. Those machines on each table was a great idea, kept kids busy entire time.

It’s Chili’s. The food was pretty sub-​par. Our fried pickles came out with very little breading, and the breading fell right off when you tried to pick one up. The menu touts how «special» it’s new pickles are, but I was charged extra for 4 small slices of pickle to put on the one burger option that lacked them. The waitress also gave me a hard time about the ranch sauce that used to come with the Big-​Mouth bites telling me «they put on extra now and don’t give you any to dip». Half my burgers didn’t even look like they had any ranch on them.
The typical Chili’s food is worse than before and I don’t know if that’s the location or the change of times or what.
At least we barely paid because it was a gift card. I’d only recommend going if you don’t have to pay for it.

Waited 15 minutes for our waitress before serving us any drinks then the waitress didn’t realize we any utensils until after we had ask for to top off the cherry there was hair in one of our entrée. Had to call the manager and report all this.

I came here tonight for a bite to eat after shopping, and was seated right away. As we were looking at our menus for 20 mins we watched all the tables around us being cleaned in an empty restaurant, about 3 or 4 staff members standing around joking with each other. After the 20 mins of waiting at our table without being waited on we left. This location is a joke. I thought my last experience here was bad but at least I got waited on that time. The management at this establishment needs to get a grip on their establishment!

I have been coming to this Chilis location several times a month for the past few years every Friday at the same time. The food has also been excellent and the service always great. The past few times I came here, it seems something has changed. I have never had to wait to be seated. My last few visits, I was told the wait was 20 minutes, and actually had to wait 50 minutes to be seated. Our waitress/​waiter both times was also extremely rude And unfriendly. I don’t know if it is this new «ziosk» thing, but it seemed the restaurant was understaffed each time. I hope chilis doesn’t plan on replacing some of the staff with this thing. It’s nice to reorder drinks on this «screen» but otherwise it’s A waste and I do not want this huge screen on my dinner table when dining out. I don’t know chilis, I loved you, but you seem to be taking a turn for the worst. I left several times due to the wait to another restaurant.

Quesadilla chicken explosion salad awesome. Portion was just right. Very pleased with service. Party of 9 and good attention to our party

I know this is a small thing, but it makes me so happy. I want you to take a trip with me in your minds… to the bathroom (get yer head out of the gutter! I’m goin’ somewhere with this!). You wash your hands, throw away the paper towel, and wait… what’s this? The door pulls in? Darn. Now you grab another paper towel, or if you like me, you use your sleeve, and pull open the door, all while precariously balancing the door on your foot. The bathroom door IS one of the dirties places in the bathroom after all! But here in the magical land of Chili’s…the DOOR PUSHES OUT!!! I know. Simple things. OK so I move on from the bathroom now. I really like the décor here, it’s kind of fun and funky. The bartenders were on top of their stuff, and seemed like they have been working together for a while. But the menu leaves something to be desired for a meatless diet. I did like the texas cheese fries minus the bacon though! I would be willing to try something else here no problem. And if they added meatless options, I would give them their fifth star. Will definitely be back if I find myself in the area again.

Classic Chili’s Experience… We don’t expect exotic options, impeccable service or anything deserving more than ½ a Michelin star. We expect burgers, queso and (insert any other fried cheese option here.)
Done and done. Perfect for our chain-​restaurant craving!
