Charming Charlie – Plainville

Where has this place been all of my LIFE?
All I know is you walk in, and they have everything in color coordinated sections. You name it, they have it. I think this place is a PERFECT place to shop when you are attending any formal function (wedding, prom, work function, etc) since they have every color you can think of.
The discount rack is toward the front of the store, on the left hand side. If you are looking for some deals, you can find some good savings in that section. I like the layout of the store, and feel the inside is a little to «done up» the chandalliers are trying to make it feel like it is more glitzy then it needs to be. lol.
The staff was nice and attentive to everyone coming in. I disagree w/​the prior poster since I had a good experience when I came in. I was not dressed up by any means, but staff was friendly and nice to my friends and I.
Overall, I would go back and finally decide to buy something. There was just so much there, I needed 1 trip to check out what they had before buying anything. The scarves are so freaking cute too.

I only give two starts because how clean and organized they are and the store itself has nice things, for ok prices
BUT when you go, dress to impress. A lot of the ladies shopping there apparently got the memo. They looked lovely. But since I was not dressed to the tens they treated me like I was going to steal or something. I had on my gym clothes and no make up and maybe it was a race thing, I don’t know. I was stalked while shopping for a new purse and a watch. There was an eagle eye on me the entire time. (Not saying hi or asking if I needed help) My daughter and I felt so uncomfortable that I put back the merchandise I was more then able to afford, all though they may not have thought so by being obviously suspicious and rude.
I’ve been looking for a new watch and purse but was interested in seeing if they had any jewelry with like scissors or anything hair related, because I’m a hair dresser in the same town. The lady I asked looked at me like I had five heads and then rolled her eyes saying no and went by the register where all the girls were all hanging out to talk, well minus one person literally following me around every section of the store.
Sucks because I personally never went to any charming Charlie’s but my ex always bought me jewelry from there so I was exciting going
I’m not going to speak on the whole corporation but, this store unless you look to their standards will treat you terribly and uncomfortably unwelcomed
