although their food is good, the way they handle their returning customers is just plain awful, we ordered a greek salad pizza to be delivered today, and when it arrived it was just a salad pizza. we called back to have the error corrected. we asked if he could just bring back the fixings that was missing from the pizza, feta cheese, olives, peppers, onions, olives and we would just put them on top. well let me tell you, when you get Anthony on the phone he is nothing less than rude, obnoxious, vulgar, and just plain nasty. when we asked to speak to the person in charge, low and behold it was him. we asked him to come and pick up his pizza and return our money and that we would like to have the owner call us. to their credit, they did come to pick up the pizza and did return our money(with resistance from the delivery person because he wanted to keep his tip). we did receive a phone call back from George who said he was the owner. well it didn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out where Anthony got his customer service skills from. apparently it was our fault that they delivered the incorrect pizza and that George’s father was standing next to Anthony while he was on our phone call and he was not rude. Oh and did I mention that this was not the first time that we were abused over the telephone ordering from this restaurant. today was the final straw. we work in a big customer service corporation and never would we treat our customers the way we were treated. We would be fired on the spot! So to Anthony and George, I am sorry for you that you have that much anger in your lives… although your food is very good, we will be ordering from Umberto’s from now on… they make a very good greek pizza and are very accommodating to their patrons… and cost less too! i’d say a win/win for us. As they say, good news travels fast, but bad news travels faster…

Great place for a slice. Easily overlooked in the Plainview area with places like Mario’s and La Piazza close by. But if you are looking for a good pizza joint to grab a few slices, Bella Vista is your place. I’ve only had regular slices on my visits but they never disappoint. Toss in a few extra garlicky knots, a soda and you’re set. It’s a small place with 6 – 7 tables and parking can sometimes be a problem with it located in a busy shopping center. But it wouldn’t be Plainview without bad drivers in parking lots. Bella Vista is my go to place in the area for a quick lunch. So if you’re in the area and you’re looking for a quick slice, give them a try. I’ve heard they make a very good buffalo chicken slice but I have yet to try it. Maybe next time.

I’ve moved away from the Island but every time I’m back in New York to visit family I make sure I eat a few of these before I leave. My favorite food growing up and still is to this day. You just can’t find it like they do it at Bella anywhere else. I vacuum seal those things and take them on planes with me. Never gets old. Deserves more than 5 stars.

Like all of the previous reviews, The Buffalo Pizza is by far the best. It’s about 25 – 30 $ for Delivery but the Pizza Pie itself is HUGE and can feed and my siblings stuffed full for 2 whole meals. Love the giant Chicken chunks. The Garlic knots are also delicious as well but we hardly have any room to eat them by the time we’re through a slice. I only ever dined in once, yes the restaurant itself is tiny, Many classic and old school NY city pizza joints are so i actually found it kind of cozy. Rated on Delivery alone 5 starts. The food is hot when you get it, it’s delicious and they are pretty damn quick at delivering.

This is probably my favorite pizza place in the area. A bunch of speciality slices but my favorites are the buffalo chicken slice and the white slice. Buffalo chicken slice is by far the best I’ve ever had. Loaded with chicken and just the right amount of spice. Yum. The white slice is loaded with cheese, just perfect. If you’re in the area, check them out.

If you like pizza that sits On the counter for so long it looks like dried up cardboard, dirty floors, schmucks behind the counter who talk with fake Italian accents, and terrible tasting pizza– then this place is for you. Their process with writing on paper plates is retardation at its best. Place sucks.

I often overlook this place because La Piazza is closer to my house, but I really shouldn’t because the pizza is good. The buffalo chicken is one of my favs and comes with blue cheese dressing on the side instead of on top of the slice, which is great if you aren’t a big fan of it or like to decide for yourself how much is enough. It’s a small place with about 7 – 8 tables, but I usually never have a problem grabbing a spot during lunch.

One of my favorite pizzerias. I’m a huge fan of all the specialty slices. Primarily the buffalo chicken, but I don’t shy away from a BBQ or taco slice as well. The slices are extremely big which is a bonus, and the wait is never overwhelmingly long.

Had good pizza and calzone. Delivery was on time. Small problem that the delivery guy dropped the coke bottle and I guess the Pizza as well. The cheese was stuck to the top. I ordered again few days later and it was OK. The delivery guy should have told us that he dropped the Pizza or replaced.

Not a bad slice… went here for lunch after rock climbing at Island Rock for the morning. They weren’t the friendliest people, and the slice had been sitting there for a bit, but once re-heated it was pretty good. Nice thin crust, crunchy… I had the chicken one. The chicken was dry but again the crust was good. The grandma slice was delicious as well. The white pizza with spinach had good spinach flavour, but not much else.

My favorite local pizza place. Easy place to eat and head right out, and the owners are very nice.

Slices are huge and the staff is super nice and friendly here. The salads are really good too!!! I love the buffalo chicken slice and the white slice with marinara sauce on the side. They have a lot if unique and interesting slices. It’s not a sit down restaurant, nothing fancy… but the food is A++!!!

Great local neighborhood pizza joint. Slices and rolls are excellent. The owners are extremely friendly. This is my go-to pizza place. But I haven’t had a dinner dish(like veal parm, etc.) for years. It’s mediocre and for that I order from La Piazza or Mario’s.

Bella Vista has basically existed since the beginning of time, started up by a former Mario’s employee who boasts of practically inventing the buffalo chicken ROLL. For seven bucks, you can get a doughy log stuffed with juicy buffalo chicken and plentiful amounts of melted cheese. f you’re the least bit skeptical, I dare you to order one and not scarf down every last bite… heck, I’ve been doing that since 2001. Chicken awesomeness aside, this pizzeria is pretty OG with some damn good slices. The formica tables, tiled floor, and fluorescent lighting will bring you right back to high school, but the pizza will keep you coming back for more!

George and his crew here at Bella Vista go above and beyond to not only create wonderful pizza, but with a smile! The Buffalo Chicken Roll is amazing, some of the best Grandma pie’s ive ever had, the plain slice is huge with a perfect crust! The place is always clean, and the delivery drivers are very prompt, even when it’s busy!

A true 3.5 star rating here, but I’ll have to round down based on comparable pizza joints I’ve reviewed. Don’t let that stop you from coming here. It fits the bill nicely if you’re looking to satisfy a slice fix. The Good: –Yes, that buffalo chicken slice rocks. Get it. –A nice plain slice –Always a nice variety of slices available –Friendly staff –They mastered the art of keeping the slice in the oven long enough for it to be served hot. Why other places can’t execute this is beyond me. The OK: –Lot’s of slices means many of them have been around for a bit. Still good, but def not fresh. –The interior prob hasn’t been changed since it opened. Not like you need a fancy place to crush a few slices, but still. –Parking lot is always full I always find my way back here and I enjoy it when I’m in the area, but do I go out of my way to dine here? Nah.

Just like others have said buffalo chicken roll or slice is amazing, everything else is blah and overpriced.

The buffalo chicken slice. And chicken rolls are a nice find at this spot. However on the other side I tried the chicken Alfredo and that was certainly one dish I wouldn’t suggest to anyone expect an enemy. It was the most plain dull sauce dish I’ve tried. A real wasted of $ 14. So one star for the chicken roll and one for the chicken slice the stars on the menu.

Came here the other day for the first time for lunch after a failed attempt at Villa Monte where the line was out the door. Honestly I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors. I would recommend the regular slice, it’s very good and the sauce tasted great. I also recommend the spinach wheels which were very tasty. My buddy got the buffalo chicken slice and said it was really good but I couldn’t cheat on La Piazza’s buffalo chicken slice which is my favorite anywhere. Give the place a try, and also note the slices are pretty big so where you might need 2 slices, here, you might only need one
