Annie Sez

It kills me to give Annie Sez only one star because they deserve 5 stars for their selection and prices but a mere 1 or less stars for their customer service. I am a regular customer who requires an active wardrobe for work, evening events and of course fun wear. That being said, I shop a lot. Last week I was with my daughter who purchased 3 dresses and a blazer. As she tried on all the garments before purchasing she put them in her closet when reaching home. One day later, getting ready for work, I heard the gasp as she identified the anti theft device still attached. No worries, Mom to the rescue. After all, they know me… I had the blazer on a hanger in an Annie Sez garment ba. g and walked directly to the register. The young sales associate rolled her eyes when I showed her my dilemna and asked for the receipt. I explained this was my daughters purchase, she may have thrown the receipt away as she had no intention of returning the items. With that I got «now do we know you didn’t steal the jacket and want me to remove the anti theft device». Fuming I was, Minot the kind to carry garment bags in my purse and look to shoplift Ina store where I’m a regular. So much for customer service. I guess she wanted to go join her friend who was staring at her self in the sunglasses mirror picking pimples. Lastly, coupons are an issue here. Some people seem to get them e-​mailed, some by mail and then some like me get nothing. Since they ask for your name and e-​mail address, I’m guessing they know you spend and are a regular so there is no need to entice you to come in for additional savings. That is just wrong, try keeping your current customers satisfied. Today, is a sad day, I love shopping, I love spending less for more but at what cost? To be called a thief by a pimple picking teenager. This is the Plainview store. Needs the owner to intervene or it will be like the massapequa and New Hyde park store — closed!

This gets 5 stars because it is easy to navigate, I like to stop in once a month and pick up a dress for my wife. I go to the same section and within minutes I have something really beautiful to bring back home to my beauty.

I’ll go here if I need a fancy dress or a hat sometimes.
It reminds me of the parking lot, usually packed and laid out pretty bad.
