Was here during the summer. Super awesome salad, crusty bread and Sangria. Nice little patio area, great for people watching along the main drag. Can’t wait to return!

I love this place! I was there on Saturday and had the spicy cheese plate which was delicious. It came with a Ghost Pepper cheese which sounds REALLY spicy, but it was just right. The staff is great with their advice and recommendations. I’ll definitely go back!

Our friend gave us a gift card for this place, and we gave it a go last night. They were having their complimentary wine and cheese tasting, which happens every week on Thursday! The servers were great and very knowledgeable about their products. We tried the Silk Oak Zinfandel and oh my… one of the most memorable wines that I have had in awhile. So of course we had to get the bottle. We followed that with a delicious Garnacha. Our favorite bites were the «Adult» Mac N Cheese with Bacon and the «stinky» Bleu Cheese. Also the Habanero jam was amazing. The atmosphere was very cozy and inviting. A great place to meet with friends. We loved our server and the gal doing the wine tasting did a great job. Overall, this made for a great Thursday night in the Burbs.

Great atmosphere and LOVE sitting outside at their sidewalk café, sipping wine and enjoying olives and a delicious cheese plate. This place gets it, and offers a friendly & knowledgeable staff, clean environment, and lovely setting to enjoy some delicious wines and cheeses. One of my favorite hangouts! Reminds me of downtown Napa, CA :)

Very nice interior and friendly staff. Nice cheese selection. But, I am not too happy with your «bare hands» policy when it comes to handling cheeses. Disposable gloves are the norm today. I would suggest at the very least: wash your hands before handling the food!

This spot is a secret; even to folks that live nearby. Its been around 11 years and with good reason. Everything is hand made and fresh, including soups. The gourmet sandwiches use great ingredients, are put together well (THANKS, Rachel!!!) and the hostesses have been very friendly. Only later did I reveal im also a small business owner in the area. But it made no difference, They were treating everyone well and I was watching. The charcuterie plates are nice ini that you can add stuff a la carte to them. The take home cheeses, pâté’s, and olives are yummy. I will keep coming back. Nice to have met Anna the owner and talking about how the market is perking up with the latest infusion of gourmet businesses in Plainfield. Congrats on a great place for a way better than average lunch and dinner experience!

Love this place! Never disappointed whenever I come to Wine and Cheese. Where to begin? The wine selection is wonderful, I usually just order starters but they’re so delicious that they often end up as meals! The flat bread, salmon carpaccio, hummus, burrata, all of it is spectacular. Wish they stayed open later on Mondays, but what can you do? Can’t wait to come back!

I adore the seating in the front window! So private and romantic! They have a nice selection of wines and decent menu. I also participated in a port tasting which was informative and fun. Will continue to come here.

I can’t give them 5 stars yet and that’s only because I didn’t eat while I was there. I can tell you that it smelled heavenly. I was just there for dessert and wine. My friend and I drank 2 bottles of the Sauvignon Blanc, and I had the raspberry shot, a raspberry liqueur in a chocolate shot cup topped with whip cream, my friend had the truffles. Everything was great, we sat on comfy couches in a corner by the windows. We had a great time and I will most definitely go back to try their menu.

The food is amazing. The sandwiches are my favorite. Great wine and cheese selection. A must stop in downtown Plainfield.

This is a wonderful wine shop with a small selection of unique wines. Spend an afternoon or summer evening on the patio and order some cheese and bread. Awesome Brie with raspberry spread. For lunch or dinner, the tomato bisque and grilled cheese are absolutely top notch. Wine prices and food are reasonable. Limited seating inside. Reserve the front or back booths ahead. Added benefit is their beer and/​or wine club. I have never had a bad bottle. The owner is typically in The store. They also have an annual wine tasting in September. Not to miss! Go early, it gets crowded! This is a great place to sit an people watch over a glass of wine.

Sipping an artisan beer, eating a gourmet sandwich, and watching downtown Plainfield roll along. Can it get any better than that? In Plainfield it simply doesn’t. If you’re looking for the best food in the area, you come here.
The chef knows his stuff and always crafts great dishes composed of top quality ingredients. The wine selection provides great quality across the board and the beer list is perfect. I’m so glad this place exists in Plainfield.

Wine and Cheese by Tcc is situated in quaint downtown Plainfield. It shares the street with one of my favorites MoJoes Cajun and it is immediately next to Capri Sogno which is no slouch. Also, it appears that it will have some more competition very soon (Sovereign & The Spaghetti Bowl). As far as I’m concerned, it should be able to hold its own against any restaurant, especially if it sharpens up a few minor details. Service and menu expansion. Menu expansion to offer new and different shareable plates every season.
We were able to get an outside reservation for 7:00 at 6:30 on a Tuesday. We didn’t realize the whole street was shut down for a car show! We got to sit right on the sidewalk and the people watching was first rate!
I’ll go ahead and get my one negative off of my chest… The service staff seemed unprepared and understaffed. Very nice, but long waiting for nearly everything. This is not the servers fault, it is the management. Have an extra server working that you cut if it’s slow, simple.
So we picked a nice Barolo out of the store and ordered an assortment of cheese and charcuterie that was top notch. The smoked duck breast and the wild morel and leek cheese are not to be missed! A++
Second course was;
flatbread with roasted artichokes, arugula, chèvre and something else. A (careful if you don’t like goaty cheese, chèvre is goaty!) I loved it!

Salmon Carpaccio. A. They had a wad of fresh mascarpone that made the dish crazy good!
The Ambiance, weather, food, wine and people watching deserved 5 stars. I look forward to eating here again soon and will be bringing friends here as well!

This is easily the best dining spot in downtown Plainfield. The food is great, the wine is spectacular, and the personnel are terrific.

The people that work here are unbelievably helpful and warm. I have never been to a place where the employees cared so much about the product they produced. Hats off.
The only problem this restaurant has is the number of seats. I guarantee a place like this can seat more people.
A humongous shout out to the friendly service and amazing kitchen staff for making the best experience Plainfield had to offer.

My wife and I have been coming here for years and we always love it. We have had everything from sandwiches to soups to large trays of meats and cheeses. All the waiters know their stuff. They can help you with wine and beer selections. Mike was one of the guys that always helped us, not sure he is there now though.
Anna is one of the nicest women and she always takes time to ask us about the kids and how things are going.
They offer many organic and healthy choices and that is hard to find. I have never had a bad thing here. My 6 year old says it is her favorite place to eat.
Support the locals and eat/​drink here. You will not be disappointed.

I sat down Saturday for my first meal at this gem in Plainfield and if not for the service would be a 5 star review easily. I’ll preface to say that we are return customers. We’ve been in countless times for gifts of wine and cheese and always have found a great selection and a great variety that you can’t normally find in the area.
My fiancé has eaten here before for dinner so I joined her, here is the story
Food — 5 stars easy. My fiancé and I went for dinner on Saturday and were not disappointed. We ordered a cheese plate, cured meat plate and a salmon carpaccio. Needless to say, there were leftovers. The cheese selection alone is easily some of the best in the area. We splurged with some 14 yr aged cheddar and it was phenomenal.
The prosciutto at this place is insane. We had the prosciutto, two salami’s (which were awesome) and the andouille sausage which I was a big fan but was a bit too spicy for my lovely last.
The salmon carpaccio was very good. With the sourdough bread that we loved we made a tcc sourdough and locks which is highly recommended by us.
Now the reason this place won’t get 5 stars… Service
Our waitress was very friendly but was slow. The food came out quickly, but we were empty for a majority of the night and the table next to us told us that they had specials for $ 5 /​glass. Our waitress didn’t tell us which it rally have nobody to blame but myself, but I think it’s pretty standard to let the customers know the specials.
By the time that we were done eating /​drinking to the time we paid and left was more than 35 minutes. Other tables that had a different waitress were in and out by the time we had paid our bill.
GO HERE! We love this place and will return. I’ll follow up after the next time we come to see if its improved.

Our favorite place in Plainfield to dine. The food is both unique and excellent. You can expect gourmet food at a great price. The wine selection is good and they have beer too. We appreciate the extra effort that Anna, Jason and their staff put into the customer experience. The entire TCC crew really want you, their customer, to be happy. We have dined there nearly a dozen times throughout the years and have never left without saying, «That was really good. I am stuffed. When is our next date night?»
We thank God that Wine & Cheese by TCC calls Plainfield home as Plainfield would be less without TCC.

I love this place and can’t wait to go back. Went on a SaturIday night and it was a bit crowded. There are a few tables and a sofa/​lounge area in the back, as well as two comfy chairs and tables right by the front window. Perfect for a cozy, romantic date night, but also a good spot to relax with a book or magazine by yourself.
And there are complimentary wine flights. Prices of glasses and bottles are about what you’d expect for this «boutique» setting. Fiancé and I had a glass of riesling and the baked brie with raspberry jam. Food and wine are superb. Our bottle and food cost $ 35 total.
Can’t believe it took me so long to finally get here! Café has an unpretentious, but slightly European feel. Sounded like there was Brazilian jazz playing in the background.
If you REALLY want to impress a girl or do something romantic for her birthday, I’d recommend stopping in here for a glass of wine and small plate, then heading out to dinner or a movie. I didn’t know places like this existed!
