You can’t beat the prices at Walmart, but this Walmart has the worst service! The store itself is pretty clean but they never have enough checkout lanes open and the checkout clerks are beyond terrible! They go VERY slow, NEVER smile, say hello or thank you. If I was the manager they would all be fired. It’s bad business.

I’m usually a target person but I thought I’d give Walmart a try. I regret it and won’t be back for anything! Horrible horrible costumer service staff is rude and it is filthy. Everyone there seemed to hate there job and it showed, I don’t blame them I’m sure it’s not the best work place, but than they should work hard to move up in the world so they don’t have to be stuck there working. Walking past the bathroom it smelled horrible and some toliet paper was outside on the floor of the store, so gross, keeping clean is a must and there not doing well at that. Night staff in liquor section so rude and when I asked to speak to a manger I was dealing with the same Thing a rude sad person who took there issues out on me the costumer. The cheap Prices are not even worth it is rather go to Target or Meijer or Aldi

Wanted people of plainfield to know walmart on route 59 and 127 street has the best customer service in the country. Very very good. Had a favorable experience every time shopping there over the past 8 years. Even returns after Christmas. Thank you walmart for being the best and least waiting times in check out lines. You rock !

I’m giving 3 stars because it is Wally World and regardless you can find a large selection, relatively cheep. This place is all over the map! They 1constant is the horrible selection of fresh fruits and vegetables to the unbearably long check-out lanes. Why have over 25 lanes when only 4 are opened and the employees checking us out all seem to have NO idea about anything. It’s sad but true! I’m not saying I want them to jump up and down all perky like they’ve just had 4 shots of espresso and 10 Red Bulls… but seriously there’s got to be a middle of the road!!! I don’t want to do their job for them, if they don’t know the difference between a tomato and an apple(regardless of the Stock ID # tag on it) they should either know their job as a cashier or not attempt to aim that high for a career.

Pleasantly surprised, this Walmart is much better than any Walmart I have been in. It doesn’t feel so junky and crowded because the ceilings are high, more like a Sam’s Club but normal sized products. Although for some reason I can’t seem to get in and out of this store without my toddler freaking out. Obviously this isn’t the stores fault, just a comment.

This has to be one of the worst operated locations in the area. They need to replace all of the employees who absolutely do not care to be working. Employees cashing customers out while on their cell phone. They seem to not care! Where have the Walmart standards gone. Never going back to Walmart!

The reviews are like back-to-back white noise. White whine. White noise on loop. This Walmart’s better than you’ll find in a lot of places. Relatively clean(but I didn’t go to the bathroom!!!) and the employees are far from sight(which is where I like them to be because I’m not lazy and can find things myself!!!). If anybody has trouble in this store it’s either because a) you’re annoying or b) you’re constipated, in which case you can go to the grocery section and buy some prune juice to mix up with the tears from your«hurt feelings.»

Got great customer service here about two weeks ago. Finally got the chance to take the time to write about it. My watch band broke and we no longer had the receipt for it. This was the third Walmart I searched to try to find a matching band and we found one(although it was one size bigger). It was on clearance so it was half price off. We didn’t have the receipt anymore so I really thought we’d have to just buy it. I figured, it couldn’t hurt to ask about whether they’d do an exchange because a watch band shouldn’t just come apart like that. The jewelry counter gal proceeded to do a return/exchange and not only gave us the new watch band but also a Walmart gift card with the difference on it(the new one was $ 5 less because it was on clearance). But she didn’t stop there. Since it was one size bigger we decided to just replace the broken side. She worked and worked on the watch till she could get the new band on for me. It was tough because it was just a bit big for the watch. I believe her name was Amber – it started with an A. It turned out looking great and fitting fine. We buy so much from Walmart and this is one of the reasons – above and beyond return policies. Smart. She saved our household $ 5 and we easily spend $ 200 month at Walmart. This is our favorite Walmart for regular shopping(Batavia is our fave for automotive). We have a Walmart less than a mile away from our house but travel to this one when we have the time. They seem to keep their shelves stocked much better than a lot of them. Rarely out of what we are looking for.

This Walmart is not close to my house, but the one in Naperville is a disgusting store so I won’t go there. The store is clean for the most part, issues are they still lack a lot of stock on the shelves for food items. The best thing about them is their pricing, the worst thing is the lack of cashiers they have working there. No matter when I go the lines are so long and it takes forever for the mgt to realize they need back up cashiers to help. Would be nice if they had self checkouts too, but seriously please hire more cashiers

This is super close to my house, but I’ve never been a walmart person. Target, Meijer, or Walmart, its like like the Beatles, Stones, or Elvis; there is no clear winner =) I’ve been over to this location a few times recently and I can always get in and out pretty quickly

This is the slowest Walmart with the worst customer service. You can spend 15 minutes shopping and twice as long waiting in line… every time! Recently bought some Clearance Christmas stuff, when I came back to get a couple more I was told that it wasn’t on clearance… they just stored it in the clearance aisle. What?

This is the cleanest Wal-Mart I’ve been in. I’m comparing that to: Naperville, Aurora, Oswego, Darien, Streamwood, Bloomingdale, Lake Zurich, Elk Grove… wow, I’ve been in a LOT of Wal-Marts. This is a super Wal-Mart. I stop here almost every day to pick up something. The meat and produce departments are somewhat lacking(flank steak? kale? nope). They need to keep more than 4 registers open at a time. Plus there’s one cool greeter who kind of looks like an elderly, Italian version of the Monopoly guy. Even if he doesn’t remember me, I feel like he does. So much better than down the road at Meijer. That guy just meanders around the front of the store like he’s lost.

Very clean store but could have better stocked food area. Has a new wine/alcohol area that matches or beats the local grocery stores. Staff can be a mixed bag on friendliness.

Customer Service SUCK… I will never come back here to shop again! I bought a DVD player here 3 days ago for $ 138.00. I saw the same DVD at Best Buy for $ 119. I took a copy of an Advertised Ad to the Customer Service desk for price matching guarantee as Walmart advertised. The lady at the customer service stated that they cannot accept this; it has to be an actual ad from the newspaper. I asked her what is the difference… she said, is the store policy. Then she tells me to purchase a newspaper here and she directs me to the newspaper stand inside the store. I went back up to the service desk with the newspaper and show her the Ad of the unit that is on sale at Best Buy. Then she asked me if bought the newspaper”? I told her no I didn’t buy the newspaper and I’m not going to. Then she said to me «you stole the newspaper». I asked for the manager, when the manager came, the lady told the Manager that I verbally insulted her. The Manager walked up to me, instead of asking me how she can help me, she said, «did I insult her employee». I told the Manager«dame right I insulted your employee». She just accused me of stealing the newspaper… Instead of taking care the customer’s problem, the Manager is adding fuel to the fire. The Manager got on the PA system to request a Security to the Service desk, «CUSTOMERNEEDSTOBEESCORTOUTOFHERE». Are you fucking for real… where the hell did you get your Customer Service Training… As I’m walking out, I requested the number for the Walmart Customer Service Headquarter to file a complaint. The stupid Manager kept saying 1−800-walmart…1−800-walmart Next day, I spoke to the store Manager named Sean Dubose and I explained how I was treated by his staff last night. He asked me to come back and offered me a gift card, I said no thanks! DON’T SHOPATWALMARTINPLAINFIELD, PAYLITTLEMOREANDGETBETTERSERVICE!

I have to say that it was the worse experience I have ever had. I went to pick up my save the date cards, I was sworn at, treated with nothing but disrespect, I will never use their photo service ever again.

For a Walmart, it’s not bad. I have a closer Walmart near me but I will drive out of my way to go here. Not that it’s any better but it’s just cleaner and has less psychotic customers. The trick to any Walmart experience is to shop on off peak hours. Otherwise, you are stuck in jam packed aisles of screaming children and socially dysfunctional people. I shop nights and early morning here. The store is pretty well stocked with merchandise and clean all around. Except for the bathrooms. Yikes! Do not enter. Plus the cashiers are anything but efficient. Talk about slow. You can get the best value with packaged and dry goods. But stay away from the meats and produce. The shelf life for them is basically prepare that day. The prices are well, Walmart cheap. And the best news: there’s a Dunkin Donuts inside. Ahh food of my people.
