Business Owner

Amy is co-​owner of Twist Yoga Lounge with fellow teachers Jen and Theresa. Together they run the business. All three teachers have several years of training and teaching experience. They love what they do and welcome everyone to the studio from beginners to advanced levels of students.

Loved it! My first time trying hot yoga, and it was super fun, and I felt great afterwards.
The studio is nice and clean and all the instructors were nice and helpful.
The only thing is that if you’re super inexperienced, you should probably try out the yoga beginners workshop they have before jumping right in, because, like a few other yoga places I’ve been to (probably like most), they don’t stop to explain positions, so you have to be somewhat familiar with yoga to keep up.

Love the atmosphere, everyone welcome, relaxed, very down to earth yogis. All levels in all classes, go at your pace. Excellent modifications offered for almost all poses. Very conducive to learning and beginners while challenging to advanced levels.

I love Twist! I got into hot yoga this winter with my friends as a way to warm up while working out! They had an amazing groupon deal, and I loved every class! Vinyasa or energetic flow classes are probably my favorite here! If it wasn’t so expensive without a groupon I would still go here, but for now, on to the next studio! Thanks Twist!

I have «Groupon hopped» every yoga studio within a 15 mile radius of my house and this one is, by far, my favorite! Not only are all of the instructors different, yet fabulous, the classes are diverse and challenging. With the challenges, though, also comes relaxation and stability. The Groupon deal was a steal and made my decision to buy an additional package a no-​brainer. Thank you, ladies, for having such an inviting and legitimate studio. Namaste!

Love it! Everyone I have come in contact with here have been just great. So friendly and helpful! I am new to yoga and not in the best shape so I do what I can. No one has made me feel uncomfortable at all. Cute and relaxing space makes me want to come every day. I have been to other yoga places and none have had such a big variety of classes and such friendly employees.

I’m really glad that I found Twist Yoga! I live in Plainfield and I’m glad that we have a hot yoga place in town. I am a new student there, I’ve only gone to two sessions so far and I cannot believe how much I’m enjoying myself! I’ve been looking for a work out that I could stick to in a long term and something that I also enjoy doing so I could keep going permanently and I think I found it. I always leave this place feeling challenged, relaxed and with positive energy.
Everyone is super nice and helpful. There are mixed people in class, some beginner, intermediate and advance, I love how everyone is at their own pace. They offer several yoga classes and it is for everyone, you make it based on your own level, which I really liked because I was able to feel comfortably without doubting myself and pushing myself to be better emotionally and physically! This place is worth every penny.
