Rosalyn has been doing hair for 14+ years and makeup for 5+ years. She has worked in a few different salons but she noticed that her clients was more happy when it was just one-​on-​one, her and them. So she decided to take her business on the road and travel to her clients. She then created a cozy, beautiful, clean, and professional area right in her home. As soon as you walk in the door you enter a business not a home. Her clients love to come to Touched By LaFone, they love the fact that there is no wait, no extra drama. It is a more personal feel because Rosalyn likes to get to know her clients personal needed.

First off welcome. You may or may not know me. If you are not familiar with me don’t worry I will properly introduce myself. My name is Rosalyn Sherrod but I currently go by Rosalyn LaFone (Hint the name of my brand). LaFone is my middle name and growing up I always wanted some type of brand with the name LaFone no matter if it was a salon, clothing line, or even store front. I am a well know stylist and make-​up in my town (Plainfield). Been doing hair as long as I can remember and been doing make-​up since 2010. Always had a passion for hair ever since i was a little girl but make-​up on the other hand kind of fell in my lap. I launched a cosmetic line (LaFone Cosmetics) back in 2009 but I didn’t know anything about make-​up so I felt the need to learn the artistry of make-​up and that is when I fell in love. My joy comes from making women look and feel beautiful.
