The atmosphere was lovely, with subdued lighting, soft music, and a generally quiet patrons. The food was excellent,(I got a Bru Bourbon Burger) and made exactly to order. But what made the experience great was our waitress, Allie.(Though she probably spells it in some other variation.) She was genuinely one of the friendliest people I think I’ve ever met, and she should get a raise. And apparently she thought we were friendly too, because she paid for our dessert. In a world where people spend all their time being selfish and rude, it’s refreshing to meet someone like our waitress at Stone Creek.

Perhaps the best restaurant in the shops at Perry crossing. Very convenient location as it is right next to the movie theater! I made reservations here the night before and there was absolutely no problem when I showed up, it’s as if they were excited to see me! Reasonably priced food especially for the great work the chef does. I had French onion soup as an appetizer and it was to die for. As well as my gorgeously cooked filet mignon. The dipping oil is incredible, I had to ask for the recipe! Keep in mind I was only 16 years old at the time of eating and my waiter was incredible! He treated me no different than any other customer and was fun plus respectful. Was very knowledgeable about the food. He was very good at answering all my questions patiently! All around I had an excellent time at this restaurant and could not complain about anything!

Yum! We had a great date night here! When we walked in everything was decorating so cute for Christmas and they had Christmas music playing lightly in the background. Our server was very friendly and had some great recommendations. Our food was delicious! I wish they had one of these out where we live.

I LOVE Stone Creek but the past few times we’ve been in, we have been underwhelmed to say the least. It was lunch on a Saturday and they were not busy. We thought great! We thought wrong. It took about 20 minutes before our waitress came to greet us. The bread, a favorite of ours, seemed like it had been sitting out for quite some time. The soup was ok but I ordered the chicken sandwich and my chicken was so chewy I couldn’t even eat it. My 3 guests had the same experience. I don’t know if it’s new management or what’s going on but we have been completely unimpressed the past 4 times we’ve been. I’m not sure we’ll give them another chance.

We have found the service at this location to be extremely lacking. I don’t change reviews based on one occasion. The last three or four visits have boasted the same problems. Confused/Uninterested Service Poor Timing Long Waits for Food Incorrect Items Lukewarm Food Twice there been an event upstairs and the kitchen cannot properly handle the execution of the banquet food and regular diners. I have to laugh because the food runners came out with the entrée plates tonight with oven mitts. Carefully placing it in front of us with exclamations of how hot the plate was. I put my hand right on it. Room temp at best. Not even the bottom was warm. Service/Management has always been much better at the Greenwood location.

Been coming here for some time. They’re good at constantly changing the menu, and until now, that was a good thing. They removed all of the items my wife and I really liked, such as the green tomatoes with blue crab. And other things, such as their filet medallions, they combined with high-priced seafood to jack up the overall cost. Service was good, but the food was slow. It was Friday night in Christmas season so I understand the slowness of the main meal, but having to wait 30 minutes for my cold side salad is not OK. What I really don’t like about the new menu is that they used to have some really unique pork dishes on the menu, which they got rid of in favor of more chicken dishes – how many damn chicken dishes can you have!

Working in the service industry I rarely ever get good service. But Ryan was exceptional this evening. We hardly ever get a date night and we just so happened to want to see a movie so we decided on Stone Creek right by the theatre. We had awesome service! Thank you Ryan, keep up the good work. We will definitely be back and requesting you sir. He gets an A++

Stone Creek… it is what it is. First: if you make a reservation here for a larger party(i.e. more than 4), expect that your table will NOT be ready on time. We tend to choose this place when hosting a larger group for dinner [that I’m not cooking] since few places around Plainfield take reservations. 5 out of 5 times in the past 2 years, our table has not been ready upon check-in. We’re talking groups ranging from as small as 6 to 12… and they can NEVER have a table ready. One time we had to wait 45 minutes for our table. Minus 1 star for that ridiculousness & poor house organization. Second: The service here is not that great. The hostess desk is frequently very aloof & snooty(hello…you are working in a glorified strip mall in Plainfield, get over yourself). In fact, I’ve never had anyone greet us with a pleasant face or even a «hello» not given in a flat voice. The servers are frequently inexperienced, scattered, or busy chatting with one another. It’s frustrating relative to the cost of most meals here, thus we normally choose to travel into Indy if it’s just the two of us. Minus 1 star(although with a few of the experiences, I really want to take off more stars). But most importantly, the food is actually good here. The menu is huge, the options are plenty, and most dietary preferences/restrictions can eat here… so they will get a 3 in my book(even though I’m *never* excited to go here…). We’ll be back, begrudgingly.

I love everything about this restaurant! I came in today after work for a relaxing meal and drink. The short rib grilled cheese is wonderful. Highly recommended. And the wine selection is desirable, considering I just moved back from wine country. have always had great service when I eat here. Today Katie did an amazing job with my visit — attentive, friendly, and fast! I will obviously be back!

It’s hard to find good seafood in Indiana! I travel for work a lot and the options are slim, but this place was a solid find! I got the seafood broil and everything was cooked perfectly. The chefs vegetables were amazing and everything was well flavored. My waitress was so sweet. Great service and great food.

In town for business and went on Unilocal to find a place for dinner. The reviews for this place lead me here and I’m glad I came! Absolutely delicious! Will definitely come back next time I’m in town.

This is a go to place for when I really know I want something good. I usually stick to wine, the bread and be salmon salad. The bread is seriously the best bread/oil combo I have. And that is a lot of past tastings! One person can take this down fast. Cough cough I have. The salmon salad is my favorite salad. Salmon has always been cooked perfectly. Try it blackened. Lunch time is always calm and the staff has always been friendly to me. #PartyOfOne

My wife and I went here with two other couples recently and we loved it. We ordered the shrimp cocktail for and appetizer and were pleasently surprised when we tasted the coctail sauce. There is probably only one other place I have had shrimp cocktail in Inidianapolis that I think is better and that is at St. Elmo’s/Harry and Izzy’s. The atmosphere was excellent, not too loud so that everyone at our table could easily carry on a conversation. The service was excelent, the waitress was very attentive and took very good care of us. I had the baby back ribs which were very good and my wife had the crab cakes. Three other people at our table had the blackened Mahi Mahi and all said they loved it. All in all this was an excellent dining experience and we will be returning again.

We have been here several times and we keep coming back. It’s nice to have a good place to go eat in Plainfield. We have found we prefer the Horseradish Dijon Steak over almost everything on the menu. I have also had a couple of the pasta dishes(most recently the angel hair pasta with shrimp) and they are also delicious! I have had the fried green tomatoes appetizer and the ahi tuna. So good and I recommend both. If you are over 21 and are just stopping by to have a drink the bar is a great quiet place. We enjoy doing this every so often. Best part to me is the atmosphere and not feeling like you are just inside of an outdoor mall.

The menu offers many choices with reasonable prices. The waiters are friendly and make a lonely traveler feel welcome! The shrimp cocktail is great. I had a variety of menu items from fish to steak and all were well prepared. The atmosphere is cozy and great for date nights or hanging out with friends. I will be back many more times.

Compared to it’s other neighboring sister restaurant(Charbonos), this one is better in my opinion. Feels much more upscale, and the food is great. Complimentary bread is served with red pepper olive oil and it’s much more appetizing than other restaurant’s complimentary bread. Great wine selection for alcohol lovers and great place to bring your significant other on a date ;) Food: 4.5 Service: 4.5 Price: 4

Amazing French Onion Soup! Just a tad salty and the portion was a bit underwhelming, but the fried onions were an awesome addition on top. #clever I had the Sea Scallops and Goat Cheese Risotto. It was pretty good, but the risotto wasn’t quite right. The rice was a tad undercooked and the goat cheese wasn’t well blended. The components altogether were somewhat disjointed. Guess the Sea Bass looked as though it would’ve been a better choice.
