Sam gave me a great haircut yesterday, probably the best one I’ve had as an adult. He took just the right amount of time to give a very meticulous cut. Good value at $ 15 for the haircut.

Sam gave me an excellent haircut at a great price!
Both prior reviews nailed it. Still to this day, Sam is giving meticulous $ 12 cuts getting your hair the way you want it. I have natural wave/​curl to my hair (a nightmare to manage) but Sam was the first barber to get my hair looking great in over 15 yrs without telling me «its the best that can be done» because he took the time to make it look good.
Oh, the best part was the Straight Edge… That’s right, he uses a straight edge blade with the warmed shave cream for trims and details. I haven’t had/​seen the straight edge blade used in over 15 yrs so it was nice to find a barber still using this skill which made the experience all the better.
For my first time in, Sam made me feel welcome and got to know me a bit with the right amount of conversation. Sam is now my Barber because he was that good!
Sam’s is a hidden gem in Plainfield and defiantly worth going to. It’s simply a MUST the next time you need a haircut, beard/​neck trim or shave. CHECK HIM OUT !!!

Sam’s is a little unknown barbershop with the best barber and best haircut I have ever had…
Sam the Owner is and has been a Barber for 15+ years.
Before opening this shop Sam worked in some of the best Barber Shops in the City.
You may have a slight wait if you go during prime time, but its worth the wait
Overall one of the better hair cuts around and a reasonable $ 12
