I took my Nissan to fix an annoying rattling noise. The guys here inspected and in no time fixed my car and on top of it, did not charge anything. Absolutely impressed with their professionalism and honesty. I recommend people in Naperville to use this facility.

I took my car to Grease Monkies today, without an appointment, because my maintenance light came on unexpectedly a few days ago. I drive back and forth between the burbs and the city, so I wanted to get the problem checked out right away.
Eric, the owner, was incredibly helpful and friendly. He checked out my car, and come to find out that there was no problem (phew!). He also topped off my fluids and didn’t charge me anything for the time he spent diagnosing my car.
When I checked in on Unilocal,there was also an oil change coupon for $ 19.99, so I’ll definitely come here again for an oil change versus spending $ 40 at Jiffy Lube.

Was looking for a mechanic in the Plainfield area. I was referred to Grease Monkies by a coworker. Tire arm broke in my 2001 Chrysler Concorde. Mechanic gave us options and advice with no pressure. Talked you through the repairs to be done and when the job was completed. My car was fixed very quickly and at a very fair price. Would highly recommend Grease Monkies !

5 star excellent service! Friendly, knowledge staff who don’t believe in overcharging you for parts or taking advantage. They give you fair, repair advice with no pressure. I will continue to refer everyone here! I have had my brakes done here and had belts replaced. Eric, the mechanic, took the time to give a full safety inspection and was honest on what needed to be worked on right away or what could wait.

These guys are great. We needed a number of things done to our Buick Enclave, shocks, struts, brakes. From a cost standpoint the Grease Monkies gave us a lot of options on how we could handle it. They did top notch work, did not try to sell us work we didn’t need, and were very affordable.

I made an appointment for a quote on spark plug replacement. In addition to the estimate I asked to check for a noise in the suspension. I met Eric at my scheduled appointment time and he put my car on the lift to evaluate the chassis. He had me take a look with him to talk through his «diagnosis» and concluded everything was fine.
After providing the estimate for spark plugs, I asked what I owed for the inspection. Eric said there is no charge. My Toyota dealer I normally visit would have charged me at least $ 60 for a diagnostic fee. I highly recommend Grease Monkies for their professionalism and approach to solving owners’ concerns. I will be back to Grease Monkies for future work and maintenance on my Toyota.

Great little place. Stopped in a while ago to have a noise checked out on my car and they were very friendly and offered me a drink when I walked in. They did a free inspection on my car, couldn’t find the source of the noise however, but they are a very nice and honest car shop.

Found them by luck on Unilocal.Theses guys were honest and fair about my hot mess of a car. They took the time to explain what was wrong, what needed to be done, and gave me options on how to fix it. The prices were fair, and I felt he took the time with my car rather than rush it to get another car in the garage. He even took it to emissions for me! Well worth the drive from South Plainfield!

Hard to find, small space, but man do they do a good job, and for a great price! I got a quote from Tuffy to do my brakes and Grease Monkies came in $ 100 under their price, and I didnt have to put up with all the other BS that they try to get you to get done while they have your car held hostage on a lift. I hate that !! I’m pretty sure you do too… Plus I also like money a lot, and by saving $ 100, these guys earned my business for the next time…

Stopped in for the first time ever today for a quick oil change. I was really surprised at how friendly they were and how genuinely nice the staff was. They were very quick with the oil change and even added air to my truck tires for no additional cost. The only downside to this place is that is a little hard to find as it’s not on a main street, but the couple extra minutes to find this place was worth it. Being my first time there, I asked them what services they offer and it seems they do most any automotive repair. I plan on going back!
