History

Established in 2004.

After graduating Northern Illinois University in 2000, with a major in Visual Communications, Lindsay Reams worked for an advertising firm in Glen Ellyn, IL where she gained a lot of experience both artistically and interacting with her graphic design clients. She enjoyed her time there and the people she worked with, but her dream was always to start her own business, once she was ready to start a family.

After getting married in August 2003, this dream was starting to be realized. It was now or never — so Lindsay fulfilled her dream in September of 2004, and design loft, inc. opened its’ doors.

Before having her first son in August of 2005, Lindsay was able to build up her clientele base and establish a work from home schedule that showed her determination and commitment to her new business. She was not only a freelancer — this was her company and it was going to succeed and there would be a balance of home life and work that her clients would come to appreciate.
