Their food was okay. I went there on Cinco de mayo as I had read good reviews but I was kind of disappointed as I have had better maxima food at several places than this. It’s more kind of a take out place I felt. Note: they only accept CASH so keep that in mind.

Love at first bite! The food here is so delicious and so fresh. First authentic Mexican food place we have ever experienced in NJ. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly. Everything was great, the chips, the fresh salsa and quacamole, the homemade tortillas. We had tacos, rice and beans and it was all delicious !! Definitely coming back!

The food was great here. Very authentic. The neighborhood and people coming in the restaurant asking for money is a huge turn off. The restaurant owners threw them out but it happened 2x in an hour. This made a great tasting meal a less than favorable experience for my family and I.

I went there for the first time today and got a chicken Tinga burrito. It was fantastic… very tasty and it melted in my mouth. It cost a lot less than a comparable meal where I live. I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu.

OK. I found it. The previous Unilocal map was is Watchung, not downtown Plainfield. But They fixed it and I stopped for lunch. Glad I did. If you are coming from suburban Jersey, this is adventure eating. Not a destination to take the family. It is large inside but they are not really a sit down eatery. More a pick up some street tacos and hit the road. In San Diego one would stand or sit out on the street and eat these. I had four tacos, two pastore, and two chorizo. They were delicious street tacos. The girl who served me was very friendly! Nothing famous, nothing great. But if you like good authentic street food. This place is the place.

Authentic, inexpensive Mexican food until 12am. The service is fast but not overly friendly. We asked if we could substitute carnitas for the beef in our beef flautas($ 8) order and they told us no. Wish we ordered carnitas or chorizo tostadas($ 2/each) instead because the beef(thin strips of steak) was really tough. The chicken flautas($ 8) were solid. They don’t do anything fancy — just unseasoned pulled chicken rolled up into corn tortillas, fried, and topped off with lettuce, cheese, sour cream, and sliced avocados. Good enough for me. Free chips and salsa and they sell Coca-cola in glass bottles made with real sugar($ 2). We didn’t know that they only accept cash so they offered to let us come back the next day to pay, which was really nice and trusting of them! We didn’t take them up on their offer and drove about a mile and a half for an ATM so we could pay. Overall, decent. I’d eat here again if I’m ever in the area but wouldn’t go out of my way to do so.

I love this place. Great burritos, best nachos, and suPERB guacamole. I honestly get food here too much probably, but I never have regrets eating from here. I usually get pick up, better food here than most other mexican restaurants in the area. You can tell the food is made fresh with great quality produce. They speak more english than staff at nearby mexican restaurants too.
