On a recent shopping excursion for dirty books for my secret Santa gift, I decided to stop at Barnes and Noble. I walked in and whispered «where are the dirty books?» The man behind the counter shouted «you mean where are the slutty books, I mean smut books?» Here comes this bubbly girl with knee high boots and long blonde and purple hair. She said, «Did someone say dirty books? They’re my specialty, come with me!» We followed and asked for her best recommendations. She showed us two, both of which she was clear to point out that you can’t be easily offended if you’re going to read them. I said, «they’re perfect.» This is the best way to get your next best book — ask complete strangers! So, if you find yourself here, make sure to ask for Roberta. She’s the assistant store manager and she knows her stuff!
