Motivating and fun piano lessons for all levels, ages 5 through adult. I customize your lessons to meet your personal goals and learning style. You will study sightreading, music theory, improv, composition in a variety of music styles. Group and Private Lessons are available, and Workshops are coming in 2015 for those students that want to learn more about a specific topic (or for adults that don’t have time to commit to a weekly schedule).

History

Established in 2000.

Karin Ford Amann began teaching in El Dorado County in 2000, and has been playing and studying the piano for over 40 years. Her studies began with a focus on classical music for 14 years, but as an adult, her focus has been on improv, jazz, blues, and tangos through traditional and self-​taught studies. She has accompaniment experience in Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and El Dorado Counties. She loves to pass on her love of music to students of all levels, and hopes they all continue playing and appreciating music for a lifetime!

I love living in Placerville! Love the people, the weather, the mountains. I enjoy teaching and playing the piano, and am also Small and Micro Business Consultant for clients all over the US. I have two teenagers, and love taking them on crazy adventures.
