Dr. Hoagland has been a great experience. He’s laid back and great at what he does. The office accepts insurance and unlike other chiro offices I’ve seen he’s not trying to get a as a much money as he can from you. The office is conveniently located off of hwy 50 on Missouri Flat ed in Placerville. He even takes walk-ins.

If you want to be overtreated, ripped off, or hurt, THENFINDANOTHERCHIROPRACTOR ’cause Dave just fixes people. His only real fault — I’m his older brother and I should know — is that he doesn’t charge enough!

Dr. Hoagland has been treating me for almost 4 years now. As an athlete, I first came to see him for lower back fatigue and pain, and he has always been knowledgeable, helpful, and committed to my recovery

After several months of severe sciatic nerve pain i decided to try acupuncture. After about 2 weeks of acupuncture treatments, i got some minor, temporary relief. I do moving for a living and even though i was in pain i was still working. Well i thought that i was starting to get better, and then it happened, I lifted a very heavy treadmill and re injured myself, the sciatic pain was way worse than it ever was! The excruciating pain started in my left butt cheek and went all the way down my leg to my foot and my calf was numb and tingling. The pain was so bad that it kept me from being able to walk further than from my bed to the bathroom and back. The norco i was given for the pain was no longer working. I had to take so many to relieve the pain that it would make me throw up. Did i mention i don’t have insurance so i couldn’t get an mri or anything necessary to diagnose where the problem was coming from. Needless to say that i was no longer able to work. After a week or two of it not getting better i new i needed to try something new. I was referred to Hoagland Chiropractic. He said he has dealt with sciatic issues before and was confident he could help me in a reasonable amount of time. I started going 4 days a week at first for about 2 weeks, doing a combination of laying on the traction table, electric stimulation, and he also has a hand held tool that he uses on my back. I started to notice relief right away. He also told me things to do when i went home. After the first couple weeks i cut back to 3 days and he was now also adjusting my back as well as the things i named before. He then cut me back to 2 days a week. I now go once a week just because i enjoy going and it makes me feel good. Ive been pain free for a couple weeks now, i can stand up straight, move around and do all the things i was doing before i hurt myself. If your in pain or just need a chiropractor this is the place to go.
