Delloree’s Confections

Stepped into this adorable chocolate boutique today while on Main Street Placerville. What a great find! Delloree was there and she showed me all the different chocolate confections she makes. Wow what a fantastic selection, and I love all the beautifully wrapped Easter selections. Gave me some great gift ideas! There were many samples to try and I tried the lemon white chocolate «bark» and it was very tasty! She has so many unique chocolate gifts, even chocolate horseshoes and mustaches wrapped up in clear cellophane — adorable! I bought a beautiful coffee mug and a horseshoe shaped chocolate for a gift for a friend. The mug was wrapped in gold tissue and placed in a decorative bag along with the chocolate and it’s ready to go! I will definitely be back soon!

O… M…Gooodies! This place was a goldfind hidden gem on our Sunday stroll thru town. The owner was so gracious to us, the most unique and decadent chocolates in town. I HIGHLY recommend the White Chocolate Lemon bark. It is refreshing. I picked up a jar of unique Roasted Garlic Onion Jam! Can’t wait to try it on some grilled chicken!

This is hands down the best chocolate in Placerville. Everything I’ve tasted has been so fresh and innovative. We bought boxes of chocolates for our families for Valentine’s Day and they were equally impressed. Highly recommend!

This tiny shop is hugely stocked with an assortment of handmade chocolates, fudge, truffles and more. They have a refrigerated case with a number of individual truffles and specialty chocolates. Plus, throughout the store they have other sweets individually packaged or packaged in nice gift boxes.
This was a perfect find during my Christmas shopping spree today. The woman behind the counter, (who I believe is one of the owners), was so friendly and helpful. She even gave my daughter some chocolate coins to distract her while I finished shopping… and as I was leaving, she dropped a whole bag of them in my shopping bag for later. :)
I’m loving a lot of the new shops popping up on Main Street, but this one is a hidden gem. If you’re looking for perfect gifts, or to satisfy your own sweet tooth, look no further.
