History

Established in 2014.

Coloma Spring Suites is an Art’s & Crafts building located in the Coloma Spring Historic District. Much of the neighborhood was built in mid — late 1800’s during the Gold Rush period. Unlike the many Victorian Homes, Art’s & Crafts styling features cleaner lines. To stay authentic to the building style, the furnishings reflect the clean lines and style of the Art’s & Crafts period, no Victorian fussiness.

Our studio apartments each have a full kitchen and bath. This allows you to settle in with all the amenties of home.

Whether you want walk to historic Main Street with it’s shops, great restaurants, year-​round Main Street events, wine tasting, or are more interested in the great outdoor’s it is all here. Near-​by sporting activities including rafting, swimming, hiking and biking.

The foothills has it all.

Just over 2 hours from San Francisco to the west and Reno, (one hour from Tahoe) to the east.

I am a physical therapist my husband is a property manager. He specializes in caring for buildings (usually other people’s buildings.)

Taking care of buildings often involves taking distressed buildings and bringing them back to life.

We saw a great opportunity with this lovely Arts & Crafts building in Placerville.

We have a local Innkeeper whio lives 5 min away. We visit on the weekends and play in active role in the management & customer support.
