Mark S.
Business Owner
Mark Scott has been in the people business since he started Carbon Copy Inc. in 1990. «I love our community. It’s amazing how you talk to business owners in Placerville, and they know everyone on the block. Our goal is to treat our customers with the same kind of care and respect that we would like to receive.»
Some of the things that have led to his success started way before he started his career. «I grew up in a Christian home. My father was in the military, and early on my parents taught me about the importance of responsibility — being responsible for the actions that you do. Later, I got into scouting — I was an Eagle Scout and learned the importance of goal setting. This gave me a certain foundation of which, in starting a business, has carried me through.»
Currently, Carbon Copy services 7 counties. In the end, Mark says the biggest keys to success are be respectful of his customers, work hard to meet their needs, «and you gotta know how to laugh.»
