Business Owner

Dr. Schluter has provided comprehensive dental care to Placentia/Yorba Linda area residents since 1985. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine in 1979. After studying for four years at the University of Southern California Dental School he was awarded his DDS degree in 1983. Postgraduate courses at the Kois Center for Restorative Excellence allowed him to develop greater expertise in complex restoration cases and cosmetic treatments. Regular attendance at continuing education courses enables Dr. Schluter to stay at the forefront of his specialty so that he can provide optimal care to his patients. He also attends courses focusing on all aspects of dental implants so that the most current treatment options are available to his patients. He has been a member of the North Orange County Implant Study Group for more than 10 years.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Schluter since childhood and have always had a great experience. He has kept my teeth in excellent condition and given me great referrals when needed (orthodontics, TMJ issues, periodontal issues, etc.). I really appreciate how smoothly the office is run and feel welcomed every time I come in for a cleaning. Great staff, too!

If you’re looking for a friendly but still an expert dentist, this is the one. Dr Schluter is a perfectionist and I really appreciate that anytime I have had to have something done. His staff is also great and very friendly.

They truly make you feel like friends rather than clients. The office is clean and organized, and he is very well educated and skilled in his practice. My husband and I have been going to Dr. Schluter for almost 20 years. We feel so lucky to have him and his staff taking care of us. We feel more like friends than clients. The moment you walk in the door, Sally ‘s friendly demeanor and her call the day before to remind us of our appointment, make you feel welcome. Kim, the hygienist, is the greatest. She cleans our teeth and even inspects our tongues. Since I am a big baby when it comes to getting my teeth cleaned she helps deaden my gums a little. We feel so comfortable with all of them. Dr. Schluter and Ellan work so well together and keep our teeth healthy and nice. He has never tried to sell us any expensive dental work that we didn’t need. I used to hate going to the dentist but for a long time now, I like going and can’t wait to see what they have all been doing. The office is close to our home but would be willing to drive a long way to go there. We have nice smiles and have to thank the doctor and his staff for this. If you need a new dentist I would highly recommend him.

I’ve been going to Dr. Schluter for a few years now. The staff is friendly and the office is nice, clean, and modern. Solid dentist. Easy to schedule appointments. I feel like they may try to up-sell you on the extra «deep scaling» cleaning a bit. Otherwise, I have boring teeth that have never given me a problem, so nothing to complain about.

I have been a patient since 1986. At that time I was living down the street. Now I live about 45 minutes away and yet I have continued as a patient. I have always been pleased with the work Dr Schluter has done. He will take the time to explain to you what is going on and what your options are. The entire office staff is excellent. There has been very little turnover, which to me is an indication that this is a group that works very well together. As mentioned in other reviews, the office is immaculate. If you live in the Placentia/Yorba Linda/Brea area and and need a good dentist, pay Dr Schluter a visit.

The office is very modern, the staff is great, the front office staff is very prompt and professional I did not wait long at all. Dr. Schluter is very knowledgeable and informative with my case. He is a dentist, who not only does amazing restorative and cosmetic dentistry, but is so gentle, you almost don’t know you are having dental work done! I have had crowns, root canals, composite fillings and veneers done by Dr. Schluter and have always been so pleased at how beautiful and natural my teeth look. His staff is so friendly and efficient, and their goal is to make your visit as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
