I ordered the Family turkey dinner supposed to feed 4 to 6 people according to there on line ordering form. Remember you have to plan for this as they require a 2 hour window. I looked at other reviews here and decided not to order on line and call at 4:00 for 6:00 pick up all seemed to go well but I had a bad feeling about it. Went to pick it up and I asked is this all the turkey I get for $ 40.00 whom am I supposed to feed with 8 small round pieces of turkey I asked the question and Kylie just looked at me smiled and yes I said really she said yes. I left brought it home and my husband said you paid what for this who is it supposed to feed? He called the store manager who wouldn’t answer the questions just yes he would give more turkey but never said how much more if Your that unhappy just bring it back so we are bringing it back if you want to feed your family go to Boston Market next door at least they give you enough to feed your family.

IF you even get a table, bc they are like snails at seating guests, you will experience Absolutely thee worst SLOWEST neglectful & awful service EVER! Food is bland, over priced & not worth the time. We only ate there bc we got a gift card, next time we’ll sell it to someone who has eternity to waste!

I am trying to change my diet so I specifically chose this place for a Salad Lunch. It was all you can eat with dinky plates! For a child, plates would have been suitable. The salad dressings were okay not great. Improvement could be made there, also I love white mushrooms and they looked brown because of age being kept too long. The Romaine Lettuce had a lot of the stem or hard back bottom pieces as it seemed like they didn’t want to waste a thing. The spring mix was very good and nice and fresh. Bacon was real and not just bits, having a nice smokey flavor. Overall, my journey to find a good salad bar continues!

Sad but true, usually we are quick to write a review when we have a negative experience, but today I wanted to recognize Brianna for her outstanding customer service! This was my 3rd time coming here in the past 2 weeks and every time, have been greeted and served with a smile and good attitude. And it makes a big difference when they make you feel like they are happy you are there than some other places that the employees look annoyed because you walked in. So once again, a special thanks to Brianna for just making me feel appreciated as a customer!

Another great Evening at Marie’s. We love the Happy hour specials. The food is always great and Zack(our favorite bartender) gives us the best service and always keeps us entertained. The manager Shawn is always friendly and makes us feel like family. I’m not a real big Unilocaler but give credit where it’s due. If you come to Marie calendars try sitting in the bar, you won’t be disappointed.

Food was tasty as always but service is lackluster. This is the third time we have had Daniel as our server and he really makes me want to never come back. He insists on having uncomfortable 5 minute conversations with you before you even order a drink. And you must also listen to his uncomfortable conversations with all the tables around you! Once the food is there, he disappears. Hello, my water was empty when you dropped off the food and you don’t come back to refill? I get that it’s a «free» beverage but I like water… Plus he is a bit of a smartass, and that is very offputting. I don’t know how he’s stayed there as long as he has. But the food is good, not the best value for a number of items but overall it’s tasty. And the pies are super tasty. Chocolate Silk! Go for the food and pie(and happy hour?) But watch your server. Some are good, some are like Daniel with this chip on his shoulder. He acts like he’s too good to be a server, or maybe he’s trying too hard to be cool or I really don’t know but I don’t jive with his vibe, that’s for sure.

Marie Callender’s use to be one of the most charming place to dine at in the days. I must say that my last visit wasn’t as great as it use to be. I ordered the Frisco burger with french fries on the side. This meal use to be top notched, but not this time around. My Frisco burger was too salty and had a very funny refrigerated taste to it. Almost like you throw it in the microwave after defrost from the freezer. In addition, the fries came out cold. It was edible, but must say that I left about 75% behind. Although the food wasn’t so great this time around, I honestly think it was an off day for them. The customer service was also outstanding. My waiter was on point and extremely friendly. Due to these two reasons, I think they still deserve a three stars and another chance. Not sure when I will be back, but will definitely be back just for the two positive notes referenced above. To be quite honest, I always have a better experience with Denny’s. So we’ll see. Tips: I recommend ordering the fries well done and this Marie Callender’s has a great convenient parking lot. Customer Service: 5⁄5 Cleanliness: 4⁄5 Atmosphere: 4⁄5 Quality: 2⁄5 Quantity: 3⁄5(the burger appeared smaller than the past)

Ordered online at 6:20. Came to pick up at 6:50, when it was supposed to be ready. I’m here at 6:50. No food. They got the order just now and just now printed it out. So I’m not eating here any more. Wish I’d read a previous review about not ordering online. Bad business, Marie Callender’s. Some manager came to tell me «he didn’t know why it didn’t print out.» He expected me to wait 15 more minutes.

Wow. This restaurant is sllloowwww. The wait staff is very attentive, but there’s only so much they can do when a breakfast order takes an hour. We were seated on a Saturday at 9, placed our order promptly, and didn’t get our food until AFTER10. The waiter kept coming by to refill coffee, water, and bread, but I wish the kitchen could keep up. I’m giving two stars because of the superior service and the many cups of coffee, but the slow food was very salty and not worthy of two stars.

My roommate and we’re craving pie so we drove to the closest Marie Callender’s to us. We were immediately greeted and helped by a worker, Jordan, who was super friendly, funny, and welcoming. The other guy who helped us too, Justin, was really helpful and welcoming as well. It was one of the best«customer-cashier» interactions I’ve had even if it was just for a couple of slices of pie to go. I would definitely go back. Not just for the awesome pies but for the awesome service too!

:/ Do not order online. Or, if you order online, call them after the order has been made to make sure they received the order. We ordered online for pickup, got there half an hour later, and they never got the order. The staff was great in speeding the process of our order once they realized the mistake, but hubby and I had to wait an additional half hour to finally get the food. I got the Grilled Cheese Pot Roast Dip. Really good! As Marie Callender’s boasts having comfort food, this is definitely hitting that spot. Good amount of cheese, bread wasn’t too tough, even when it got cold, and the meat was juicy and tender. Au jus had some good flavors in it. Fries were very tasty; crispy and yet tender in the middle. Awesome. Hubby got the chicken marsala. Not cooked completely, and the veggies had a weird taste to it. Got the french apple pie. Yummy! With whipped cream, yummi-licious! Definitely has a strudel-taste to it, with the crispiness of the crust and how sweet the pie is. But, definitely some good pie. May come back, but we’ll be careful about doing online ordering. Staff was very attentive while we were waiting for our order, but it’s always a bummer to be waiting.

My server Rusty was top notch. The food was better than anticipated. I had the quiche which was fluffy and warm, topped with perfectly cooked bacon, and the crust was buttery and flakey. The only issue was it was a bit heavy on the cheese topping. The side of fruit was perfectly ripe. Extremely impressed.

Sarah is an amazing server! My husband has diabetes and she went out of her way to make sure he was accommodated. I will be back not only because of the great food but mostly because she made us feel so comfortable and accommodating. Thanks Sarah!

I don’t usually do this but these two employees and adults of the future need to learn a lesson about having a JOB and providing CUSTOMERSERVICE. This review isn’t about the food because the food is always great and I’ve been to a few different locations all with excellent service. I would give 5 stars if I could but unfortunately I can’t because of two employees who were there June 17, 2015 at around 1:15pm. I am calling them out by name so hopefully management can teach them better social/work habits and skills. So hopefully they can learn a lesson and not continue to grow up to be entitled brats like the younger people of my generation are proving to be. I don’t suggest they should be fired, they need to LEARN. There’s a chance to turn it around. First: I walk in smiling and approach the cash register. Ana and Briana are having a conversation and folding boxes or something super important. There’s a whopping 4 senior citizens in there, so of course they don’t look up to greet me. I let it slide because maybe they just wanted to finish the point of whatever they were talking about. After I’m standing there for 20 seconds just staring at them not wanting to interrupt, they both give me this look like I’m inconveniencing them and put down what they were doing. They are apprehensive when they ask«…do you need something?» STRIKENUMBERONE. Next: I made an online order(SOEASY for them to prepare, make sure all the food is there, put the food in a bag, and a napkin and utensils. Easy, right? WRONG. I ordered a kids meal and didn’t get the slice of pie with it. No napkins or utensils). STRIKENUMBERTWO. Last: When one of them handed me my bag she named off what I got and said«…is that it?» with this attitude again. Did she not have 8 seconds to just read off the receipt? Attitude sucks. STRIKENUMBER3. They both deserve 0 stars and need to learn about how to be a positive contribution to society. I gave them a generous 2 stars because I should have caught that they missed my slice of pie, and also because maybe they just haven’t been in the work force that long. You will see in my other reviews I am usually really positive because I love to commend great service/food/experience/products/people, but today’s experience was absolutely APPALLING. I can’t believe these young people have the audacity to so blatantly disrespect a paying customer. Please, someone — reach out to these girls and help them!

Not a very good experience. When we first arrived the host frightened my Grandmother by telling her that people have died on their stairs. We finally get seated and got our drink orders in. Marie Calendars is famous for their complementary cornbread, unfortunately they didn’t seem like they wanted to give it to us. It took about 15 minutes to finally get our cornbread. We got our cornbread and got our order in and then it was time for a next refill of our drinks. That took about another 10 minutes. We finally get our order about 15 minutes later, which is typical so no problem there. When we received our food we requested a few additional items… It took about 25 minutes to get ketchup for my fries. Everyone was done eating by the time I got my ketchup. All in all not a very good experience. Going to probably avoid this place for another visit!

Review for take-out pies and customer service from Cole. Part One: PIE As of late, my grandmother has turned into a pie fiend. Marie Callendar’s holiday/seasonal pies are her thing and are always on her mind. Picking up a slice of pie may become a weekly event for me(let me be clear, she’d like a slice daily, but it’s around $ 5 for a slice, and $ 15 for a whole pie, which means the whole pie would make much more sense… but I’m scared she’ll eat pie for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and will need at least 2 pies per week to satisfy her craving. I HAVETODRAWTHELINESOMEWHERE, GRANDMA. So, I’ll keep buying slices. Sorry, I digress… the pie is great(sometimes, I’m lucky enough to get a taste when I give it to her!). … Part Two: CUSTOMERSERVICE So, I pre-ordered a pie 2 days before Thanksgiving & was unaware of any specific pick-up time for it. I stopped in on my way to Thanksgiving dinner, & was greeted by a nice fella who(cut a long story short-er) told I’d missed the pick-up times and could wait in line to see if there were any available. Waited in two incorrect lines(ladies who worked the bar that day, you’re rather unpleasant) and felt the time(and pie) slipping away from me. CUETHANKSGIVINGMELTDOWN… I returned to the nice gentleman who’d greeted me, and seeing the stress and desperation on my face, he kindly offered to help. Cole found a pie for me, calmed my nerves, and took all the worries of heading for a straight jacket and padded cell away… all with a smile. What a champ. It REALLY makes a difference when people are friendly, pleasant, and genuinely care about customers. Thank you, Cole, for saving my Thanksgiving. I’d also like to point out, this fella has been exceptional EVERYSINGLE time I’ve been in to pick up pie. He makes Marie Callendar’s a pleasant place.

Thanksgiving day, girl working take out with tattoo on right inner forearm was short and rude, could not concisely answer question regarding the sides that came with the meal I had just ordered… Passed me off to another server that happened to be walking by so he could explain what sides come with it… Either learn to be cordial and/or stop doing drugs at work. Still enjoy Marie Callendars… Just not this one anymore.
