History

Established in 2007.

In 2007, Carol and daughter Stacy decided to open a children’s school, Carol had experience in teaching children for over 20 years in Roller Skating, dance, and learning classes; vital knowledge which she combined with Stacy’s 10+ years of experience in teaching and in business management. They knew that they wanted a fun, positive, and low– pressure learning environment for children and so together they started formulating ideas. . Carol’s mom loved frogs and her grandmother had a dog that she adored named Freckles. In honor of each of those women and their passions, Carol and Stacy put together the name, Freckled Frog. Stacy and Carol knew from personal experience that not only do children have specific physical and emotional developmental stages but that it is the relationship with the child and the parent that determines the child’s ability to succeed at these crucial early stages. For those reasons, Stacy and Carol opened Freckled Frog and the rest is History.

Growing up, Dance was a big part of Stacy’s rigorous Artistic Roller Skating program. From age five to seventeen she skated and danced for at least 4 hours a day, 6 days a week. It was this kind of dedication that helped shape her into the type of person she is today. She won multiple local competitions and competed in many regional competitions. In her senior year of high school, Stacy wanted a change and made the Varsity cheerleading team. She attended Fullerton College and received her AS in paralegal studies and then continued her education at the University of Phoenix with a major in business. Stacy went on to start a successful 10 year career in Property Management for one of the largest property management companies in the state. Now in the most rewarding job she’s had, Stacy is grateful for the joy that Freckled Frog Learning Center brings to her life and Hopes o share that joy with students and the parents.
