Eagle Community Credit Union

This has been my credit union for over 20 years. The staff is always very helpful and professional! The parking is very easy and the inside is always immaculate. They offer a lot of great services and they don’t charge for so many things that the bigger banks do.

The husband and I have been looking into joining a credit union and were excited to learn that Eagle Community has finally allowed open membership to those in O.C. Joining was extremely simple and both my husband and I love the service we’ve received so far!

Nice people that work there, but this location is way out of the way of everything. Kind of hidden in a dark and creepy industrial area.
My main beef with this credit union is the holds with all deposits. Mobile deposits don’t work the first 60 days and after that it is a 2 – 3 day hold after you have deposited funds. Also had to move around all of my bill pays because you cannot schedule what day the payment will arrive. There is no rhyme or reason for the holds, but it makes everything very inconvenient. I want access to my money immediately.
At B of A, my deposits go through and will cover all debits from that day and all funds are available after midnight. We really wanted to drop B of A and switch over to this credit union completely, but it is just way too inconvenient. Guess we are sticking with B of A for now.

This has been my credit union — banking institution for years. I think Credit Unions kick ass over regular banks! Especially the big ones.
Credit Unions don’t charge you for all the stupid stuff that banks do. Also the service tends to be much more member friendly.
Laura, who works at this branch, is awesome. She is super helpful and very attentive. I love Eagle!
