After a very disappointing experience with another local vineyard, my fiancé and I visited Beneduce which was on our list. What a pleasant surprise! First, the rain held off so we really got to enjoy the vineyard. We were greeted by a gentleman named Wayne who saw us standing around looking clueless, and he offered us a tour of the vineyard, even though we were the only 2 on the tour! He was very knowledgeable and pleasant. He then led us to the tasting room which had nice live music, and we did the tasting with a cheese plate. The wines were surprisingly good; we bought 2 bottles of the cabernet/​malbec blend (which wasn’t on the tasting list but they let us taste it anyway). They have live music every weekend and a fire pit and outdoor stage, so we will definitely be frequenting this place over the summer! Everybody was so nice, customer service was impeccable and they really wanted us to enjoy our experience.

Tasty wines, well run events, and good outside food vendors. We enjoy spending evenings listening to music here.

We recently had my daughters Bridal shower here in April 2016. It was a perfectly wonderful day! A really great venue! Highly recommend! Jen and Nora were fantastic at being sure we were happy and made the day easy. Everyone who works there is more than happy to keep you happy! Ask and you will be helped right away. There were constant compliments from the guests, while there, when leaving and days after. I strongly recommend having unlimited house wine for the guests and using Marinelli’s for catering. The food was so delicious!
You are though at the liberty of the weather. We lucked out because it was 40 degree;s and sunny outside but mid to high 70’s inside. They roll the bottoms up of the greenhouse venue and that helped keep the party comfortable. A few times a cold breeze came from outside. But the rolled up bottoms are all or nothing. Cannot adjust area’s, it’s all one piece. People felt like they were on vacation! Sunny, warm, tropical, unlimited wine and great food. We used the very accommodating young men at Rental Center USA for tablecloths, plates and silverware. We had a large dessert table and gift table plus a coffee table and food table. The venue supplies tables. Buying good quality plastic was very close to the rental place, and it was so nice to have white china plates and real utensils. We did bring high quality spoons and dessert forks. You just need to return free of food. We did have them turn the music off when we got there to set up because it was loud. The calmer more comfortable shower worked for us. It was very loud with happy chatter from guests. We had 42 guests. Bring more than enough waters for people to have 2 or more each during the party. We worked into the price wine tasting for everyone but very few used it. We paid for only those who did.
Having only one hour before to set up is very tough. Be extremely prepared! Have things in easy to carry baskets or laundry baskets to bring in and unload. I bought TJMAX 99 cent big pretty bags (hanging at checkout) to bring stuff in and then to use for taking gifts out. I bought 10. We rushed so much we forgot to put out a few decorations. The bathroom is across the parking lot and inside the beautiful winery from the greenhouse venue. That was no problem but good to know for older or handicapped. We had the party in the front of venue because it’s near the door and beautiful big wooden bar, but were able to use whole greenhouse because there was no other party there that day. There are heaters and fans available but we did not use the fans.
I was the MOB and had many reservations about this venue. Worried about weather and bathroom inside. I am though, SO happy my daughters pushed me to use this place. It was just wonderful. A very different type of party (and great) from the normal square enclosed room with a big chandelier. Boring…
They have smaller parties inside the winery but it’s up a large staircase. This place is a place you will want to go for music and wine during the spring and summer!

Now this place certainly has 5 stars for a reason! I was having such a lovely time that I barely even remembered to take pictures, which is rare for me. I promise I’ll hook you all up with some more pics next time I stop by ;)
One statement that sums up how I feel about Beneduce Vineyards: … What couldn’t I discover this place sooner!?! I’ve seriously been missing out.
At first I was nervous to try Beneduce because I feared that it would be a ripoff, but this is a true bang for your buck. You can do a wine tasting for only $ 5-​make it $ 10 if you want to add on a cheese plate. You can also purchase bottles made in-​house for as little as $ 15. And the scenery outside is GORGEOUS.
Every Saturday starting 6pm they have live concert for $ 10 per person– music is different every week so you can checkout the schedule online. There’s also free live music outside on Sunday afternoon, but I believe the band is smaller and less lively.
One of my favorite features is that you can BYOF! So you can purchase a bottle of wine inside and they’ll provide you with glasses. There’s a bunch of nicely decorated round tables scattered around the lawn. You can seriously bring whatever food you want! My bf and I stuck with a tiny little cooler for our first time, but were surrounded people with full blown feast. pizza boxes, birthday cakes, full trays of food. Plus, they have a food truck in the parking lot as an option too. The Empanada Guy was there when we went.
They take a deposit of $ 2 per wine glass and you can choose to keep it or return it for the money. I totally recommend keeping it!
I went on a chilly and windy day, but luckily that had a fire pit to save me from the cold. I got the chance to speak with regulars of Beneduce and apparently the vineyard gets so packed in the summer that they have limit the amount of people outside. They recommend showing up an hour in advance if you’re planning to do the Saturday evening concert. After hearing stories about Beneduce, it definitely seems like the place to be on warm nights! Unfortunately, we happened to go on an odd night that the band wasn’t too upbeat. But the regulars say it’s normal for everyone to be out of their seats and dancing all night long!
I’m already planning my next visit to Beneduce for a Saturday evening! I have to say that it was for sure the most fun outing I’ve had in a longggg time.

This Vineyard is legend. BEST WINE EVER. homemade and great service. ALSO, a live band plays every weekend. Very nice place to relax on a hot summer day.

Came here a couple falls ago, around November. Even though it was pretty cold out we were still asked if we wanted a carriage tour ride of the vineyards. The guy who gave us the tour was so nice and detailed in his history of the vineyard and grapes. He even gave us a blanket for the ride and allowed us to continue sipping our wine we had purchased earlier. Inside, we had a tasting that consisted of a few red wines and a few whites, cheese and bread. All wines were really tasty, along with the snacks. We ended up purchasing the shot gun red, which was our favorite. We’ll definitely be back in the summer, as it seems from other reviews the outside patio with music is a great time!

Having a great time at Beneduce Vineyards with friends! Great Saturday nite out! Great wine, music and flatbread company food truck pizza is awesome! We brought cheese & crackers, prosciutto, sopressata platter. Cab Sav/​Malbec and white wines are fantastic! Great nite out!

My fiancée surprised me on my birthday with a visit to Beneduce and we had a lovely time!
Right off the bat, the place is really cool-​looking, with barrels and equipment worked in tastefully around the seating areas.
We opted for the bar and were greeted right away. We ordered the $ 10 tasting, which was 5 wines and we also had a cheese plate and some prosciutto, all were delicious!
I forgot our bartender’s name but she was very nice, friendly, and knew her wines. The wines themselves were good, I’m not a huge wine drinker but I do enjoy it from time to time. My favorite was the Pinot Noir, which I had a full glass of.
There was also a guy playing acoustic guitar and singing covers, which was nice, and there were several large tables of parties, which added to the buzz. It also looked to be BYO-​Food?
Overall a lovely place and I would definitely return!

I am so pleased with this unexpected find in the middle of New Jersey! I was in the suburbs to visit the boyfriend’s family, when I recalled that there was a cute little vineyard in Cape May I chanced upon and I wondered if there was a vineyard in this part of the state too.
And there was! There’s actually a few different ones, but Beneduce got the highest ratings and onwards we went. When we pulled up into the parking lot, I was immediately impressed by the firepit with chairs around it. Unfortunately we went in the middle of the day so it wasn’t lit, but it is during weekend evenings and I imagine it must be the coziest thing ever.
Tastings are so cheap compared to Napa Valley, I feel so ripped off now. $ 5 gets you five tastes with two whites and three reds, and $ 10 gets you that AND a plate of cheese. The service staff were… how should I put it — masters of etiquette. Hospitable and conversational, but not overbearing and knew when to back away so we could resume our date. I couldn’t have enjoyed it more.
I’d highly recommend coming back here for an affordable date night in a classy, comfortable environment.

This place was very nice. They do not have any sweet wine wines which is a real bummer but the staff are all amazimg and they arteact a really nice crowd of people. The fire pit is a nice touch at night. $ 5 for wine tasting and live music. I really enjoyed my friends here.

What an awesome place! Entertainment, great wine, hangin’ with friends, gorgeous country views. Highly recommended for get togethers and wine of course!

First foray into NJ winery, what a great surprise. Had a too brief but wonderful time. Was really impressed with the wines we tasted. Make sure to try the Mangione.
Grapes picked the day before were going in the crusher right when we arrived, and we were offered a little taste of the fresh squeezed grapes. So much fun to think of being able to see how they evolve into what I’m sure will be a lovely bottle of Chardonnay.

This place is very special indeed. Even though I do not drink wine I enjoyed my evening there. Saturday night is a fun time for all. Live music, food, wonderful scenery and a wonderful tour by Wayne.

Always a good time and fun. Love playing bass in Electric Gumbo at Beneduce’s. Hope to play again and again.

This is a fantastic way to spend a Saturday! The wine, venue and staff were amazing. I can’t wait to return!

Can’t say enough good things about this place and almost don’t want to write a review for fear of word getting out and it getting over crowded.
Beneduce Vineyards is located in the middle of the suburban neighborhood of Pittstown, NJ. It features a large «quad» style central area with the winery/​tasting area on one side, several hot houses on another (one of which hosts indoor gatherings), a fire pit, patio and lawn seating.
Every weekend and periodically throughout the week they host events which usually consist of local blue grass style bands (so far every band I’ve heard there has been terrific and low key).
BV offers wine tasting of selected brands that they craft for the low low price of $ 5 ($ 10 w/​cheese platter). Their bottles generally run from $ 15-​$ 20 which you can drink on premises and/​or take home with custom made BV wine glasses.
The food is BYOB by and large and many people bring picnics here, however there is almost always one food truck as well (Empanada Guy, Flatbread Pizza, etc …).
Parking is ample and the staff is awesome.
The only minor ding is that because of where they are located they are only open from 6 PM — 9 PM.
A tremendous local gem of an evening hang out. Go there now!

Wow! What can I say about this vineyard? Its located in Pittstown section of Alexandria township on a 51 acre farm. 10 acres have the grapevines and the winery is 7000 sq. ft. The vineyard was planted in 2009 and opened in 2012. It’s such an amazing place to come and sample some delicious wines and listen to a band, and have an elegant evening or party. A worker by the name of Stanley told me you can tour the vineyard by yourself in a golf cart during the day till around 6p a little later on weekends. You can also have a guided tour in a tractor through the vineyards. Except for Saturday night, parties can be booked in the evening. Wine tasting is $ 5.00 or for $ 10.00 you can have a cheese plate. There is also a wine club.
From the minute you arrive you know this is no ordinary place. It’s very organized from the attendants that direct parking to the staff that can help you choose a nice bottle of wine. Everyone is very friendly. I felt like the employees enjoy working here.
It is $ 5.00 a person to enter and the attendant stamps your hand. You are then directed where to park. Once in you get to see the real beauty of this place.
In the main building there are two bars in this huge room surrounded by all different sizes of wine barrels and equipment. There is a chalkboard which list the wines available. We started with their Chardonnay .
You give a deposit of $ 2.00 per wine glass and you get it back if you return the glass. The wine glass is beautiful and has the Beneduce logo etched on it. Well worth the $ 2.00.
From 5 to 9p there is a food truck by the name of Pure and Simple Hearth. The pizza is crispy and delicious. If you prefer you can pack a picnic or bring in your own food. (just not liquor .)
It was a lovely night so I sat outside and among the pretty white tables was a rip roaring fire pit. Great on cooler nights.
There’s plenty of room this place had 3 hundred people and I never felt crowded.
The band played and people danced.
There was a bachelorette party and bride to be was dancing and lost the diamond out of her engagement ring. Some kind gentleman standing next to me found the diamond…

come early do some wine tasting and stay for the band. I can’t wait to come back soon.

Beautiful winery in a pretty country setting. I enjoyed most of the wines I tasted. Shotgun red was my favorite, so I even bought a few bottles. Nice mildly sweet red that should be served slightly chilled, so it is a great red for the summer.

«Life is short, drink better wine!»
That’s the slogan on the back of the bottles of Beneduce wine and I’d be hard pressed (wine pun!) to disagree! The winery has only been open since this past summer and even though it’s quite a hike for me, it will not keep me away. An hour drive to one of the most elegant wineries in NJ, complete with a sprawling vineyard, friendly staff and owners, is a small price to pay for «better wine»!
Original intent Friday night was to enjoy the «Group Therapy» offered in the heated outdoor greenhouse (buy their wine, enjoy your own snacks or dinner in a little oasis among the vines) but somehow we didn’t realize those ended in January. We ended up doing the wine tasting and picking up a few bottles to enjoy later. The tasting room also doubles as the barrel storage room and contains a couple of stainless steel vats full of wine fermenting to perfection. There’s a small loft in one corner with a big communal table that you’re able to reserve for a small party.
The wine tasting really taught me to keep an open mind and try something I normally wouldn’t despite having a strong bias against it (Chardonnay and Riesling, I’m talking about you!) Of the 8 or so wines tasted, I didn’t hate a single one. In fact, I kind of liked exactly the ones I assumed I would hate the most, the Reisling and a Cab/​Malbec blend. I ended up wanting to go home with four different varieties! I settled on two since the third was more of a summer red called «Shotgun Red», a Corot Noir, Noiret, and Chambourcin blend that I’ll definitely be picking up in late Spring. Wait, Corot what? Yeah, I never heard of Corot Noir and Noiret grapes either! But the winemaker is a Cornell grad and there’s definitely as much science as there is love in each bottle!
The fourth variety I wanted hasn’t even been released yet, so we didn’t even get to taste it, but I’m already into it. It’s a white Pinot Noir called «Tuxedo». That’s right, a white wine made from black grapes with notes of tangerine, almonds and toasted marshmallows. It makes its debut this weekend in a limited quantity of 250 bottles… and I want to score one like a junkie needs a fix!
I came home with a bottle each of a Cabernet Sauvignon/​Malbec blend (much softer than I expected a Malbec blend to be and to me, that’s a good thing) as well as a bottle of the «Centerfold» Pinot Noir. If I had money to throw around I’d be coming home with a case of «Centerfold». It was definitely one of my favorites with notes of cherry, clove and pomegranate. I’m not really phrased in wine tasting lingo, I just know what I like, and I really, really, really, like this wine.
