Specialties
You can’t miss our famous Centerton Salad with five types of shredded cheese and a heavy garlic dressing. Our Steak Centerton is every body’s favorite, an 8 ounce filet mignon topped with lump crabmeat and bearnaise. Your experience will be complete with a bag of our famous peanuts added to your bill. For lighter fare, dine in our tavern and sample our legendary pulled pork sliders or indulge in a black-angus burger topped with «the works». Steaks, chops, fresh seafood, and daily specials are what keep our Inn’s guests returning for more. Don’t hesitate to ask for something special, we delight in our ability to meet and exceed your expectations.
History
Established in 1706.
Serving the weary traveler since 1706, the Inn has long been a way-station for local residents and folks traveling through on route to the sea shore or west toward Philadelphia. Ye Olde Centerton Inn is the oldest continuously operated Inn in New Jersey, and one of three who are older than 300 years old in the United States. Stop by and visit our historic Inn and make some memories of your own,
Meet the Business Owner
Brian and Joanne G.
Business Owner
Brian and Joanne met as young chefs working in Manhattan in 1989, but it wasn’t until 2003 that they realized their mutual dream of owning their own restaurant in the historic Ye Olde Centerton Inn. Check out Brian’s personally selected and well known wine list, or treat yourself to an ice cold craft beer. As avid foodies and professional chefs, both Brian and Joanne LOVE the down-Jersey farm country of Cumberland-Salem Counties.
