I have never dealt with such an unprofessional group of people before in my life. They were rude and obnoxious from start to finish. On top of being unprofessional, their products are garbage as well. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. If you want a terrible experience and your wedding to look cheap, you’ve found the right place!

I chose Ann to be the florist for my wedding(7÷12÷14) and she did a great job. I was a pretty clueless bride — I had a vision of what type of flowers I liked, but had no idea what was in season for my July wedding in Upstate New York, how to choose a color scheme based on the bridesmaids’, mother of the bride/groom, my dress, etc. Ann was able to point me to her pinterest page, sample books of what flowers would be available, and then also asked plenty of questions about the general theme of the wedding, location of the ceremony and reception, who needed flowers, did we need altar flowers, etc. She even asked for photos of the ceremony/reception areas so she could better visualize what floral would work/not work! She had me bring in the bridesmaids’ dresses, my mom’s dress, and we brought in a photo of the mother of the groom’s dress to help coordinate the correct color scheme and I felt confident that everything would come together beautifully. Since I’m a petite person, Ann even recommended having a slightly smaller bouquet made for me so that it would not dominate photos. I thought that she was very thorough with these small details to make the wedding as personalized as possible. I loved that Ann was very into helping me with a «do it myself» wedding process. She didn’t push me to have flower arrangements done for every table at the reception done by her company — she told me how I could contact local vendors, who to contact, who had the best whatever flowers I wanted, etc. so that I could do my own simple table flowers if I wanted! I was so thankful for that, since most vendors are very into pushing their products. On the day of the wedding, we picked up our own flowers from her business. Everything held up beautifully throughout the day!

As a bridesmaid(and stand in maid of honor since the MoH is in Cali), it was my duty to help my friend make some floral decisions for her wedding day. The Topiary came recommended from another friend who hired Ann for her wedding. Ann is darling. She was personable, knowledgable, and fun to chat with during our initial meeting. She even had her own Pinterest boards that she pulled up to reference ideas, themes, color schemes, types of flowers, etc. Both Tara and I were semi-ignorant — not sure where to begin or what she needed/wanted in terms of flowers for at her wedding. Ann knew exactly where to take the conversation and helped us frame a picture based on Tara’s theme and the season of the wedding(fall). Once we figured out what types of flowers Tara liked, we were able to get an idea of what the bouquets would look like with certain flowers that would be in season. I also appreciated that Ann didn’t immediately oversell everything. She understood that there are some affordable options and gave us suggestions about how to reuse pieces from the alter setup on each of the table centerpieces for the reception. I also loved that she knew all the venues well and could help use piece an image together of what the vision we created would look like day of. I like that Ann’s pricing is based on the floral piece versus each individual flower. Regardless of your using a carnation or an orchid, it all prices out the same as one solid piece. But that also means, if you want to put something simple together at a low cost by using inexpensive flowers, this shop may not be your best option. In Tara’s case, the cost per bouquet was a better option considering the flowers she’d want in each one. She’ll also be using Ann to setup the alter day of so bridesmaids/friends don’t have to deal with it. The chapel they’re getting married in books tightly so it makes more sense to have someone who’s a pro setup and tear down so we use the time efficiently and also get the stuff to Casa Larga in time for the reception. Looking forward to continuing to work with Ann up to the big day!

I didn’t have a large budget for my wedding compared to most people. The Topiary worked with me and figured out ways to make my flowers more budget friendly. Everything was fabulous… I had a Christmas Wedding and they really did their best to help make my day spectualur. I couldn’t have asked for a more thougtful florist to be honest. We did have to do a bit of work on our end– we clipped evergreen branches and holly branches from our yard for some of the items. But we were so impressed with the creative ideas and ways to use these items. The prices weren’t bad when I came back to get arrangements made for various events or gifts for people either. They really make such beautiful and original flower arrangements that I highly recommend them to anyone. The last one they made used a rustic wooden branch basket covered in moss and had big beautiul hydrangeas in it. It was stunning. The attention to detail was amazing– I was not disappointed!

I asked the Topiary to deliver a boquet of cut flowers to my mother on Mother’s Day. My mother ended up receiving a pot of garden flowers. Upond contacting Ann at the Topiary to correct the order, she proceeded to dismiss my concerns insisting that I actually ordered the pot of flowers. I do not recommend this florist. They are not courteous to their customers and do not appear to have a good handle on the producing the orders that their customers request.

The Topiary is fantastic. Really. Ann puts together arrangements that are pseudo-traditional with an eco-friendly eclectic edge. I had her create the flower arrangements for my wedding. And I visited four florists before picking her — and she fairly cheap. And she included organic herbs and acorns in my sunflower bouquets. She found a local grower who specially grew espresso colored sunflowers for my event. She was amazing. Her flowers were amazing. I loved her acorn and orchid boutonnieres. I love the minty fresh smell my office now has because I brought in one of my centerpieces(which contains locally grown mint and rosemary). And in addition to having cool unique elements, her arrangments are beautiful. I had TONS of compliments on my flower arrangements. The Topiary sort of specializes in weddings, but will do flower deliveries for your sick Aunt.
