This is Sawdi’s newest incarnation. Sawdi’s was a local spot known for its meat. The Roadhouse carries on this tradition with a more casual atmosphere, pool & darts, and lower price point. The menu has … meat. Apps do include soup, nachos & shrimp, house/ceasar salad, and a simple selection of typical roadhouse fare. Entrée and burger offerings included beef, chicken, pork and one swordfish steak. I didn’t see any pasta or veggie burger, but a vegetarian might be able to get a good portion of mac and cheese, which they serve as a side in the place of fries. I had a burger — Black Angus, but not local beef, unfortunately, which was huge. It had a the usual iceberg lettuce, a thick tomato slice and a complete slab of an onion on it. I did like the bun — an egg style top that has been brushed with a little butter so it was a little crispy and had a little more taste than the usual sesame seed topped kind. If you’re hungry for a burger, this place will certainly fill you up!
