History

Established in 1994.

Doug grew up with a shovel and rake in his hands, in Northern New Hampshire’s dairy farm country. The farmer and his wife taught Doug about growing and maintaining gardens for both food and beauty. Always fascinated by building and construction. It was a natural direction to continue to help others with their yards and buildings.

Business Owner

Doug Martin is a freelance landscape designer/​builder, located and serving the greater Boston area. Specializing in dry stack stone and rock construction, renovation and repair. Receiving his general education across many schools, Doug attended college classes at New Hampshire Technical Institute in electronics, computers and computer networking. Doug never lost the calling of the outdoors or the passion for molding the earth into living areas of comfort and relaxation. While working more then a decade in the Information Technology industry Doug took the leap of faith and became self employed. Following his passion for the outdoors and a life of service to others, Doug started Doug Martin Home and Business Maintenance. Currently Doug lives in Pittsfield, NH.
