We have yet to have a bad meal here! Great prices and family friendly. Would’ve give 5 stars but they really need more staff so you aren’t sitting waiting do long at times.

Our food was delicious! The service was prompt and very friendly. Our drinks were always full. The Buffalo fish on Friday is the best, but I really like the rueben. We want to try breakfast next time.

Cute space. Disappointing food. We were driving through the area on our way to Quincy, Illinois and starving for food. Protein was high on the list as we had consumed our fair share of carbs over the course of the day. We drove around town and took a quick trip around the square only to see this café. We decided to stop. When we walked in, we were impressed with the look of the space. Very cute. Dark hardwood floors and plenty of seating. The staff were very kind. The prices looked great! That’s where my happiness ends. The booth was so uncomfortable. This makes me crazy! After hours in the car, I wanted a cozy spot to enjoy a bite. I was not thrilled. I ordered a ‘homemade’ pork tenderloin sandwich. There was nothing homemade about this sandwich. Potato chips with green spots. A dry, stale grocery store hamburger bun. And finally a large, tasteless piece of overcooked pork-like(probably previously frozen) product. My sister’s food wasn’t any better. I really hate to knock a locally owned, non-chain establishment but they could really stand a makeover in the food department. The space has definitely had some attention. Maybe a chef will get in there and change things up. One can only hope.
