History

Established in 1948.

The practice was originally started by Dr. Harry Wachs and was re-established under Dr. Lessmann in 1992. We specialize in developing individual potential through vision. Most seek us for reading problems associated with lazy eye, strabismus, concussions, TBI, strokes, «dyslexia», ADD, ADHD, special needs, autism, dizziness, vestibular issues, and glasses problems. Our independent program offers a unique blend of vision, light, and cognitive therapy. We treat all ages from infants to seniors. Associated symptoms include headaches, migraines, double vision, focus, foggy brain, dizziness, night vision, depth perception, school struggles, eyestrain, fatigue, frustration, irritability, and sleep problems. Many report poor reading, spelling, math, and computer skills. There are four vital components of vision: sight, nervous system balance, eye coordination, and visualization and all must be addressed for successful outcomes.
