As a holistic dentist, Dr. Tammy DeGregorio is passionate about educating patients so that they can make informed choices about their dental needs.

Because of her advanced training and emphasis on total health, Dr. DeGregorio takes a unique, whole-​body approach to oral health care, combining sound dental science and technical experience with a deep concern for her patients’ emotional well-​being and comfort.

Always, specific dental materials for fillings and other restorations are chosen with biocompatibility in mind. Dr. DeGregorio specializes in Cerec 3D CAD/​CAM dentistry, designing and fabricating full porcelain crowns, inlays and onlays, all completed in one office visit.

Dr. Tammy DeGregorio is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and established her practice in Shadyside in 1993.

She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, The Academy of CAD/​CAD Dentistry and The Holistic Dental Association. She is an accredited member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, having completed extensive training on the safe removal of amalgam/​mercury fillings. She is also a charter member of The International Association of Mercury Safe Dentists.

A member of the International College of Integrative Medicine (ICIM), Dr. DeGregorio is currently training at the American College of Integrative Medicine and Dentistry (ACIMD) and will receive board certification in Integrative Biologic Dental Medicine (IBDM) and board certification from the American Naturopathic Medical Certification Board as a Naturopathic Physician in July of 2013.
