I am so thankful to have found and worked with Secure Data Recovery Services after a recent hard drive failure. In a state of pure panic, I googled «best data recovery company» and called a few of the businesses listed. A few of the businesses didn’t answer their phones while another company made me feel very judged when I explained the situation. But when I called Secure Data Recovery Services, I was so, so pleased with my experience on the phone with Alec Sakenes. I explained what I was dealing with and he very confident that he knew what the issue was and that it could be fixed. Within just a couple of quick minutes, he had me all set up to drop off or mail my hard drive immediately. I hopped in the car and drove to the nearest drop off location. I wanted to be COMPLETELY certain I was handling the situation correctly (giving the person at the drop off location the correct information) — so I gave Alec another call to confirm and discuss options. He was so friendly, patient, and straightforward in his explanations, even after I asked him to repeat himself a few times to be sure I was completely clear on the process and pricing. The next day, Alec emailed to let me know things were moving along just fine and sent along some final pricing information. I had some questions as I like to be as thorough as possible but Alec handled his responses like a boss. Again, he was very friendly, clear, and straightforward — which makes him wonderful at what he does.
Treating customers/​clients the way Alec treated me is invaluable. Because of the way he handled our interactions over the phone and via email, I feel a level of trust in Alec that will ensure I come running back to SDRS in the (unfortunate) event I find myself in a similar situation again. I’ve already passed his information on to countless colleagues, singing his (and the SDRS’s technicians) praises.

Save our butts with TWO HDs going offline within 10 days of each other in my Mediasmart NAS. We were sweating bullets for 2 weeks while waiting for Secure Data to sort out our data. So happy to get everything back (every family pic/​video, MP3, financial stuff), and I mean everything!
Now, I got smarter (less dumb really), and have a Synology NAS 415+, along with Amazon Glacier. Protected!
As great as Secure Data Recovery has been, I hope that I never have to use them again!
